[Tuto] Mario Kart DX Arcade GP 1.10, including banapassport save and online play, QR codes and LAN versus play !

Im trying to get online with mario kart DX 1.10.22 version. I changed the server network to 

MKDX game settings

Network Server address - 104.244.72.41

Network Server Port - 49200

Network AMAuthPort - 49199

Network Player ID - your own

but it still gives me offline. I cant even select banapass at all. Are there any solutions or not at this time?

You run the TeknoParrot and Mario Kart .exe as administrator ? (right click file properties)

I need Help for LAN Setup:
Hi guys - I am currently on TeknoParrot 1.0.0.142 and "had" mariokart up and running in LAN + Namcam (eyetoy silver)....  but only once... now I have struggled for around 5 hours, not getting anything to work.  ==> Sega Rally 3 is working fine in LAN with the same PC configuration !

 

Maybe someone can help me with the INI files.

PC1:  main IP:  192.168.1.2 (secondary: 192.168.0.2, 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1). subnets 255.255.255.0

PC2:  main IP: 192.168.1.3 / 255.255.255.0

connected via LanCable (also tried unmanaged switch),.. ping any IP -to- any IP. is working, so is Sega Rally 3

 

==> Therefore the issue must be in the .INI configuration.  <== 

 

TeknoParrot - GameConfig:

PC1--Gateway:       192.168.1.1

PC1--ServerAddr.:   127.0.0.1

PC1--ServerPort:     49200

PC1--AmAuthPort:   49199

PC1--PlayerID:    1234567899

PC1 is also running:  "MKDX SIMULATION SERVER 1.0".   [question1: is this needed for LAN?]

 

PC2--Gateway:       192.168.1.1

PC2--ServerAddr.:   192.168.1.2

PC2--ServerPort:     49200

PC2--AmAuthPort:   49199

PC1--PlayerID:    1234567890

 

\TeknoParrot\GameProfiles\mkdx.ini  --> each matches the above!

I have a problem with Mario Kart DX now. Haven't played it for a while, made several TP updates and now the game hangs up at the NamCam check and stays there forever. When i switch off NamCam in Test Menu, the game starts, but not when it is turned on. Everything worked fine before and i didn't change anything. Already deleted all game/user profiles, but that didn't help.

Anyone has a hint what the problem might be?

Network - ServerAdress ;  104.244.72.41

Same for me.   TP 1.0.0.140 was fine,  then last week .142 and .145 did break the namcam -  hangs at "CHECKING"

Cant play Mario DX anymore after i updated. Did everything here mentioned above. Cant pass the first screen. TP freezes at final check "game server check" and no response, Looks like:

Je suis nouveau dans l'univers de TeknoParrot donc soyez indulgent avec moi svp. J'ai fait des recherches mais je ne trouve pas de sujet sur mon problème.

 

Je joue avec une manette xbox et quand je ne touche à rien mon Kart va très légèrement sur la droite. Est-ce un bug commun à tous ou seulement moi ?

 

Pourtant, dans le menu du choix des personnages je peux aller à gauche ou droite et le curseur ne se déplace pas tout seul sur la droite non plus.

 

Ce qui est bizarre c'est que j'ai le même problème dans After Burner en plein jeu mais très léger mais pas du tout en revanche sur Virtua Tennis 3.

 

Je n'ai pas essayé plus de jeux mais je voulais déjà savoir si qqn d'autre avait eu le même problème ?

How do you scan the qr codes? I want to unlock the new tracks, but if i have my logitech webcam connected to the usb port i get black screen on the cam.

If i use a virtual cam and open the qr image with it, then it doesn t fit.

I have then to strech the image to fit the square, but i get the unable to read qr code message.

Also for the people that is lost, the 1.10 rom is the 1.10.22 rom (is the same).

 

In my case i searched mario kart dx download on youtube and downloaded it from the description of a video.

I almost did. I installed a virtual cam and pointed to a image of the qr code. But the image shows streched on the game so doesn t work.

Installent different virtual cams got different results but never got one to read the code. I found a video on youtube of a kid unlocking the course with a web cam, so maybe if we ask him wich model of cam he used we can buy the same... Just search for mario kart arcade dx qr code on youtube
