The latest arcade release of Taiko no Tatsujin has been dumped and decrypted, with over 800 songs! i dont know if this has been talked about before, but i'm only making this thread in hopes that this gets enough attention and gets cracked someday

 

Compressed Size: 3 GBs

Uncompressed Size: 5 GBs

System: Namco System BNA1 Lite

 

the only problem with this dump is that it doesnt works without a dongle, this has been found in a chinese arcade dump archive in 1cc.

hi, how do i run this game?

1. extract copy.

2. copy jconfig files in Executable\Release\ directory.

3. Set Control in J-config,

4. Run Game 

5. u can choose to overwrite the original exe with the english patch it works fine 

6. Taiko_SongUnlockVSyncOff.exe ud rename to Taiko or the other exe and replace for sync atleast i had to

7. BACKUP UR FILES & Enjoy.

yes.

u can make a backup of the original Taiko.exe and rename the songunlockVsynOff.exe to Taiko.exe

everything will be there. i didnt add anything additional to the game then what was included. =)

once u extract again. copy over the jconfig files and run the game before adding anything additional from the pack if the game works u can try the other exe's to see if it betters the gameplay performance

We might need the original exe for tp soon and I’m still asking myself if the drum is xinput or dinput 

and if the hori version for switch works on pc and supported by jconfig it’s a conundrum lol

the game starts, but it doesnt detect a dongle and its just a black screen with text at the bottom. what should i do?

Anyone has a press inputs issues with DInput (for my cabinet control panel) like sometimes mis pressing or sometimes with lag ... ??? 
if I use XInput (for XBOX controller) works fine.

Need help with this one - launching the exe shows a cmd prompt, then exits. No black screen, no error, no logs, no messages. Tried with every possible exes, including the original, the 120Hz one, the 60Hz one, and the 144Hz one. Every single one is the same.

 

EDIT : Got it working by putting the game onto root C drive, but it seems that special songs just didn't exist, even with the song unlock exe and the omnimix applied. Is that normal?

There's only a handful of songs available, even though I've tried applying the omnimix patch and/or the patched executable files. Is there anything else I need to do?

Don’t use DInput, it’s known to cause high CPU usage.

drum switch, PS4 controller... the input do not match (for example: the songlist moves with left and right, while I have set up and down ..)

 

and with my drum, if y choose Xinput, the game crash after 2 second

I put it on the C drive, but it finished

I've got the game running, but if I use the NoVSync version it runs way too fast. The VSync and regular exe's run way too slow. Anyone got a fix for this? I've patched the exe with JConfig as mentioned in the thread, but I haven't been able to fix this issue. It works, but it's unplayable for me.

anyone manage to get past the dongle error? earlier today the game worked, but then suddenly it just stopped. no idea why
