To be honest, I didn't know there is that fx.

Didn't play this game in its original cabinet because unfortunately here where I live is never appeared ( sigh ).

 

Maybe in a future release it will be added ( I hope ).

I checked a bit YouTube for the real cabinet and I couldn't find anything about that windscreen FX.

 

Since I never played it on its original cabinet I don't know if that FX exists or not but why it's in MAME?

We had versions of Scud Race Deluxe (50 ") and I played a lot on them and I know 100% of the use of windscreen views

 

But the Standard Edition does not have this display
So it's pretty chaos ..

Scud race standard   no

 

Only the owner of Scud race deluxe can confirm

I think the Model 3 Hardvare detects which machine is being used and switches the graphics to a Deluxe or Standard machine.

 

Or Test Menu is not fully functional. (Fully emulated)

 

In Mame, the same game (rom) windscreen

responds exactly to the controls in the game

Hi everybody,

 

Do you know if supermodel manage 4 speakers surround ?

Indeed my pc setup is now composed with 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers and I wonder if it's possible to configure it with supermodel.

 

Previously I've test supermodel just with a stereo setup and both front and rear HP in supermodel are mixed in a stereo configuration.

This is a screen shot of the model 2 emulator patched with SweetFx Crt emulator. With a little bit of tuning , the image and feeling is almost identical to the arcade.

This emulator has come on leaps and bounds recently, especially Sega Rally 2 and scud race, but one of the best games even today for me is still Fighting Vipers 2 it is just like I remember it, unlike the not so much so dreamcast version. Well done on the new loader guys, it has transformed this emulator.

Hi lads. Does a fix exist for calibration of the analog stick for LeMans 24?

Having an issue where the slightest input sends the car wildly off track.

Had a look in the test menu and can find a calibration for wheel, but no clue how to adjust and save it.

I decided to share my whole setup of Supermodel I'm using because I noticed some user here has problem with it.

In the archive I uploaded you will find Supermodel r8.02 ( the version I'm using ) and 15 games I'm playing with it + offiicial pink UI already set + NVRAM in English ( EXPORT ) + my gamepad configuration ( xbox controller, if you don't like it you can change it modifying the Supermodel.ini in the Config folder ) + Save State for Magical Truck Adventure ( click F7 to load it during the game startup ) .

 

Everything is working good here ( my PC HW specs are on my profile page ) but keep in mind I'm launching them through LaunchBox and thanks to this I can set XInput or DInput via Command Line parameters so I don't need to change options every time I choose to play a game that needs DInput or XInput ( e.g. Ocean Hunter needs DInput here for second player ).

Another thing, Star Wars Trilogy has a bug that can be fixed deleting the NVRAM at each start ( I solved this with a .bat file via LaunchBox ).

What are you using to load the roms? The pink UI?

I cant get "dirt devil" and "emergency call" to work with 830 version....those 2 games always have problems with missing files.

i downloded the leates roms version for them (mame 0.225) but i still have those missing files errors.

what version of mame roms i need to use for them?

Hey Guys, do you suggest downloading the compiled forks from emucr or emufr?

For r830, both folders are different sizes and have some different files. Any info is truly appreciated.

Sorry for the newb questions but do you add both xinput and dinput lines or is it a custom per-game setting? in this case can you please tell me which ones are concerned?

And for the bat file, I don't know how to set it up in launchbox, can you help me find the correct settings?

For XInput or DInput it's a custom per-game configuration.

You need to check which one is better for you.

I.E.

For enabling second player ( for moving the aim ) Ocean Hunter needs XInput Command Line because I have 2 xbox gamepad so native XInput.

My advice is to try different configurations until you get the best for your needs.

 

For the BAT file simply make a new text file and copy and past inside it the lines I posted and save the text file with the .bat extension.

You need to change the path according yours.

Then in LaunchBox you need to set an Additional App for SWT game.

Put a name of your choice in the first box, put the path of the BAT file in the second box and check the "start automatically before" box.

@nohero, I dont know why but the Launchbox pause menu (shortcut start + select for me) doesn't work with your setup. Is it the case for you too with this emulator? Thanks!
