Du coup pour en revenir a mes petits soucis précédemment mentionné plus haut, le fait d'activer le "Speed Hack" de l’émulateur, le rend instable, d’où mes soucis avec les 3 jeux de tir. (Le Processeur est a 100% d'utilité dans le Gestionnaire de tache)

 

Sans le "Speed Hack", les FPS sont très bas même avec une carte graphique autre que "Intel" (Obligé de faire un "Alt Tab" pour que la fenetre de l'emulateur perde le focus un coup et quand on revient dessus la ca va mieux mais avec quelques "Lags").

First of all, thanks for the custom versions you made of CxBx Reloaded, which allow us to play Chihiro games and are a big step forward in Chihiro emulation

 

I've tried the Outrun 2 games and I've encountered some "problems"

 

I read somewhere that you need to go to test mode and put the cabinet as "Upright", so the game can run (I did this succesfully)

 

For Outrun 2:

1) The "Start" button does not work. All the other controls are the same as Wangan games, except "Start" so I can't play

2) Also, the game seems to have graphic errors. It's like the shadows are incorrect or something like that

 

For Outrun2 Beta:

1) At the end of the game, when the time is over, the games hangs and need to exit the emulator manually

 

Are these already known issues?

 

Also, I have a couple questions:

1) The Racing games can be configured to play with a controller? If so, how can I do it?

2) There will be a custom version supporting the rest of the games? (I think Ollie King, Crazy Taxi and the Gold one are the missing ones)

inputs are same for every game : 1 start 5 coin arrows-q-w-e-a-s-d to move and F1 for service / bios and select

 

outrun 2 both work fine (don't use wangan build)

Tried Outrun 2 again with the "normal" version of the emulator and the start button still does not work

In the test menu, put the game in free mode. Unfortunately, the 1st button does not work. If you put it in free mode, the game opens.

No, still does not start... The button that's not working is the "start", so even with freeplay it's needed to press that button, that is not working
Also, it seems the game has some graphical glitches and hangs in the attract mode

I'm using the official cxbx reloaded version

Try with Chihiro DS 1.0 emulator

Sorry, I've tried all versions available and it seems in the folder I have the games was a little mess. That's why when I tried ChihiroDS version, it didn't work

I've started from scratch in a new folder and yes, both Outrun games works with the Chihiro DS Build
 

The only problems now are there is some graphic glitch in the car and that the game hangs after finishing the game. It may be my computer or something on my side, as there is no graphic glitch in the screen hippopippo posted before

Again, sorry, as you said, the answer was already given but I had a total version mess in my folders that prevented the game from working

I will try to be more cautelous in the future

Magicray, calibrate with the test menu F1 and F2, needed even with Demulshooter for Ghost Squad.  Also set resolution to a 4:3 resolution.

Yup figured it out and got aim working perfectly now in both 4:3 and widescreen. GS and VC3 pretty much solid now. i had to manually set my display resolution and refresh rate in cxbx but good now. Only hod3 has drops from 60-40 ish fps in some scenes. but now aim is perfect on all 3

What did you do exactly?

 

I've tried all sorts of settings and can't get it right, and the gun doesn't register in the test menu to calibrate it either.

Thank you hippopippo atd.., fantastic work. I can finally play almost all the Chihiro games and I'm especially happy with House of the Death 3. The only arcade game in the series that can be played now..
It works very well for me
I'm looking forward to further progress.

what do you mean "the only arcade game in the series that can be played now"?  pretty sure they're all playable

Verifie que le speed hack ne soit pas activé dans les options de Cxbx et apres quand tu lances le jeu, fais un "Alt Tab" pour que la fenetre perde le focus et reviens dessus apres, l'emulateur est toujours pas au point... Si tu fais pas ca et que t'as pas un PC de malade mental, Cxbx te prendra tout ton CPU et l'emulateur plantera.

Dans ..\EmuDisk\chihiro

Pour Xbox 1ere Gen et Chihiro il faudrait bosser sur Xemu, beaucoup plus stable et avancé et pour le system 2x6 et 1x7 il faudrait bosser sur pcsx2 pour les mêmes raisons mais a mon avis cela doit être plus compliqué qu'avec Cxbx et Play! Au passage je salut bien évidemment tout les efforts et le travail d'effectués par les courageux car pour moi ça reste du chinois a faire de programmer ou bidouiller un emulateur ou autres logiciels, chacun son domaine 😃

House of the death 2 (Naomi) emulator Demul,Flycast etc.
House of the death 3 (Chihiro), first time can be played now, thanks..
