I'm unable to get into the test menu. What directory do I put your cobrata.backupram and cobraw.backupram files?

my folder backupram is :

C:\Users\Play for Cobra the arcade\Play Data Files\arcadesaves

for portable mode after launch "play" :

launch play first time

in folder of emulator create a file portable.txt

move folder "play data files" after install emulator in your main folder of emulator where is located portable.txt

now all folder to play emulator are in exemple : Play v0.59 or another you would....

im having issues. in animal kaiser evo games. my play buttons are set but the game will not take any inputs

controls set for keyboard buttons

play version 0.69 win10

EDIT: Solved. Turns out akevo uses the dpad left and dpad right as green n yellow buttons. So what ever u got mapped too dpad left and dpad right is the buttons for the game.

Dont suppose theres a list anywhere showing which buttons work fpr each game?

For example in AKEvo 1-8 what ever is mapped as L1 is the button to get into test

What ever is mapped to Dpad left is the green button

What ever is mapped to dpad right is the yellow button

Hello Friends, do we have to enter the test menu every time in these Animal kaiser games?

Hold the "1" key on the keyboard.

I can enter the test menu, but when I close and open the game, I have to enter the test menu again. I think there is no save option in the test menu.

Does anyone have working defs/zips/chds for taiko no tatsujin 11/12/13/14? I keep trying to run but I getting errors about chd being mismatched.

Taiko 11 and 14, defs are provided with the emu

I also have 12 and 13, but don't have def so I can't confirm if they're working

Is Tekken 4 running slow for other people please?. I am only getting about 47fps and the game is stuttering a lot. Im assuming its my pc specs that's the problem -  I7 6700K, RTX2060 AND 32g of ddr4 ram. Thanks guys.

Until the Teknoparrot team or Play! one fix this games, nothing changes. You are just using the same emulator running on a different software.

Hopefully the TeknoParrot or Play! team can fix the emulation, because right now it’s a jittery mess.

I've noticed no differences or improvements comparing the latest Play standalone to the TP fork they include.  Other than easier controls configuration.

A good bit improved since the last time I tried this emulator standalone, that was some time ago mind you. The sound and graphics are quite a lot better than when I last tried it in its early days and gave up on it as I couldn't get it to work properly, still shakes and sound occasionally goes off sync but fantastic progress has been made.

I just tested TP Play! and the lastest Play! standalone and both perform the same. For Tekken 4 I almost got solid 60 fps the entire time.

Also I tested Tekken 5 and it performs very well, almost as good as Tekken 4, except for some graphical issues (black vertical lines).

Tekken games look and perform better with OpenGL.

For the TP version of Play!, roms (in this case pacmanbr.zip) go into the TP>Documents>Play Data Files>arcaderoms folder, correct? I'm getting a 'can't find game exe' but the file referenced (pbr102-2-na-mpro-a13_kp006b.ic26) is in the zip file. Any insight on how I'm screwing this up?

For the TP version of Play! you can use any folder you want for your games. For Pac-Man, you need the zip file, and you also need to unzip the zip file into a folder with the same name as the zip file. You also have to enable free play mode in the service menu.

Many thanks - perfect advice!

Greetings! I am hoping for some help with the new Play! games available on TP.  I have downloaded the CHD files from the link provided in this topic.  I am trying to find the ZIP files that are supposed to go along with these CHD files and I do not know where to find them, any assistance is appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Nevermind, i found them!  I just had to scroll down on the page I got the CHD files from :)

Works Great if you do this

Packman Battle Royale

1 zip pacmanbr.zip

1 folder with the zip extracted

pacmanbr (folder),within the folder

common_system147b_bootrom.ic1

pbr102-2-na-mpro-a13_kp006b.ic26

Load the pacmanbr.zip ouside the folder ... Almost like MAME file structure placment
