it doesnt boot always - i tried like 50 times and booted 3 times

does it boots and goes in game always for you ?

 

this emulator is like joe biden - really broken

Yeah these are the only 2 games that work flawless for me. The other games I can't start. I can put in coins but not start them

that's because this build is made specifically for the two Wangan games.

I have Maximum tune 1 working with a 4034 dashboard but Maximum tune 2 doesn't (black screen when trying to reach the game's test sub menu, just like joefish).

 

Can you tell us which dashboard you are using (and eventually where to find it) ?

Never mind, I have found the original XBOX dashboard in archive.org and now Maximum tune 2 works !

Im trying to map my controls
How do i do that for Chihiro games? (Maximum Tune 1/2)

I wanna play it on a Xbox one gamepad then eventually use a steering wheel with a shifter

 

Also whats the button to insert the card?
Maximum Tune 1 requires me to clean the card slot by "inserting" a card in the test menu.

For me show only a black screen after the bios screen ...

 

PS: Using fullscreen option (Alt+Enter), after bios screen game goes to windowed mode

Hello! What did you do to make Wangan Midnight 1 and 2 work? I have tried the following dashboards:

Xbox Dash 1.00.4920.01 V1.1
Xbox Dash 1.00.4034.01 V1.0
Xbox Dash 1.00.4817.01 V1.1

And 2 other dashboards that I don't remember the number on and it always ends up on black screen no matter what I do.

I tried the following:

- Downloaded Wangan Midnight 1 and 2 (Export) and Wangan Midnight 2 (JP) from this site: https://gofile.io/d/FlDCQi
- Downloaded the Yacard Emu Release of the Emulator
- Downloaded the Chihiro Bios (which I then noticed it wasn't necessary as the emulator has it
- Extracted all games to their own respective folders and Copied the contents within their respective A folders to each root folder for each game (where boot.id is).
- Installed all the dashboards (One by one to try them out) mentioned on the Partition 2 folder inside the emudisk folder of CXBX.

I cannot erase the files inside each of the games respective A folders as if I do that it gives me a "can't find (insert name here).xbe file, I can copy them to the game's root folder and then boot that specific xbe file so that it can go past the Chihiro boot-up screen, but as soon as It does it shows a black screen and it hangs for eternity. Anyone know of any winning combination of bios/settings/dashboard that should work in booting these games successfully? been trying to do this for 4 hours but nothing. Thanks in advance. 

Edit:

When I try to use the Debug verision of the emulator I get a vcruntime140d.dll , msvcp140.dll and ucrtbased.dll error upon booting the app, which is odd because I have the files installed on my windows 32 folder and reinstalled the VC redistributables to be safe. Don't know if it helps to mention this but you never know.

Use the win 7 with ycard that Hippo posted, do same steps you have done, and wmmt Jpn won't work with that one, use the export version of those games , when do get to boot calibrate in test menu , turn off the force steering or whatever it's called in test menu, need ycard exe load first then need to use web UI of it , dashboard version shouldn't matter, I tested few of them, right up to newest, can also turn card reader off in test menu if not going to use, think that build only has kb controls, so need another for controller, a update , for card thing if you don't know how, check TP wiki compatibility under wmmt3
