About this version:

 

Based on Karis Dragon's Lair work for Singe, this is the Blu-ray version of Dragon's Lair, upscaled and enhanced using HitPaw video enhancer.

Some scenes have been restored / modified by hand, frame by frame using Wondershare Filmora 13 to extract frames, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9

to edit frames manually, is a free program I have been using for over 20 years, that’s how I crop, layer, copy and paste pieces together.

 

Here are some of the changes I made:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many other fixes, like sounds from scene overlapping other scenes, unfinish scene endings, 

noise glitches etc....

 

New on this release:

 

Level 33 - Pot of Gold, it will play normal on difficulty set up to easy, on normal difficulty, there will be random

turns when Dirk is running away from the Lizard King.

 

This is still a work in progress, this is a stable release, please report any bugs or leave suggestions.

Hello, I have tried to play Tekken Tag 2 Unlimited, but every time I select LAW, the game restarts. Can you help me with that?

I downloaded Tekken Tag 2, no problem, but I like the Unlimited version more, because of the combos.

VERY offtopic why would you even post this here? Hypseus Singe is for old arcade games like the 80s/early 90s.

I am deleting the content I try to upload to Internet Archives, site is very unreliable.

Also are you still making a non-cropped 4:3 version?

Yes, is based on that version - next project is going to be DL2 HD

This is one of the most amazing projects ever! Kudos to @Max0011 - however, just noticed something, on the first level the Bridge, after Dirk enters the castle, there used to be a scene where the ceiling colapses and you have to turn right (see pictures attached) and then you enter the Fire Pit. However, on this version, it seems this scene is missing: after you enter the castle you immediately start on the fire pit. Do you know why @Max0011?

Is not missing, this version follows the ( USA / Cinematronics / 1983 Arcade )  order of scenes, including 4 elevator scenes.

You are right, I did 2 full playthroughs today and saw that scene. You are the expert no doubt. I had the idea that that scene would appear immediately after you enter the castle, don't know why! It's the best port/version of Dragon's Lair that I've played so far!

Game Updated:

 

I changed the way "best score" looks, it will not show the "Life Bar" scores, unless you are playing that game mode.

 

 

 

 

Now it will show the correct "lives" Knight Icon. 

 

 

Added Launch box .bat File, Added volume commands on .bat file, and a few timing / scene tweaks.

@Max0011 bro it's like you read my mind, I was just about to post the LivesLED icon change I did. I based it on an official Dragon's lair draft sheet lol

 

May I ask what tweeks you did on the timing/scenes?

Also, is it just me or the new .zip file is kinda corrupted?

 

I get these errors when extracting:

I had the icon made a long time ago from the Steam version,  somehow I mix Space Ace framework with Dragon's lair... is the same, just different life icons.

 

 

It looks adding the compressed extra LED files is causing your problem, I may do a separate download for those files.

The scene after you enter the initials was too short, and the next scene after was incorrect causing a visual glitch, now fix.

@Max0011 I'm extracting to a brand new folder, not overwriting anything. That's why the extraction error is strange, so maybe it happens to other people as well.
