New for Teknoparrot subscribers. 

 

Obscure & rare game produced by Digital Silk Road and manufactuered by Covielsa.

Should be complete with all needed files.  Currently needs fixed in TP itself as it crashes.

Coffee has been working on it.  Last I heard he was hung up on something.  From what I was reading somewhere, the IO stuff hadn't been dumped and it's didn't use a a common one like JVS, etc.

The I/O program code is inside 2 protected MCUs that would need professional decapping / glitching before they can be dumped.  Once dumped, replacement parts can be programmed and they I/O can be restored to fully operational. However, being so rare it’s unknown if the owner is willing to risk it and loan out the chips in the first place.  For TP, if the code were to be dumped, it would be best disassemble the 8051 code and HLE it.

that's interesting.  i wonder if it will ever actually be playable without the IO being dumped.  yeah it's a pretty rare game, so i can't imagine the owner being open to the risk of the IO being damaged.  kind of sucks but i probably wouldn't want to risk it either.  seems like it would be a fairly fun game to play.  thanks for the info.

yes, it's been said that all the TP Christmas "gifts" would be for subscribers, and games getting unlocked from subscription would resume after the new year.

where can u find the file WKwin32.dll when loading this game in teknoparrot it says it needs version. 3.00 or higher which wasnt included in the dump here is screen of what it looks like based of the avi folder

ive been looking for a minute for the wkwin32.dll i found some dongle key install that had the files but when loading into teknoparrot it just crashes back to the desktop

yeah when i did the update on my mini amd i also got a black screen and then it crashes but i did get to hear sound.

game uses Wibu System technology as wkcrypt security so please wait some patch from the devs in next update

there are by far better shooting games they could have worked on like halo or silent scope bone eater,the swarm etc.

i am thankful but i will have to agree with u 100% there are far better shooter games out there that are older that still hold value. i would have loved to have seen halo or the swarm. i also would enjoy things that work without having to test things all the time lol its tiring im too old for this! lol. we need competition when it comes to this stuff so we can push for what we want instead of just accepting just saying

Well 

i just saw another live stream of his he said it works for him and on previous livestream he showed some gameplay as well and was missing some parts but when i tested it same as others mentioned all i see is black screen with the crosshair on top left, so either a tp issue or some files missing from the dump.

as for users accepting things as they are its a choice between waiting or asking for more stuff done.

It’s working now with the latest updates.  It does need the wkwin32.dll from the original HD’s Windows/System32 directory.  I’m not 100% sure if it also needs wkwin.dll from the Windows directory too.  It also uses the old Intel Indeo (I think) video CODEC.

How to Register the Indeo Video Codec on Windows

On Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, the Indeo video codec is included but not registered by default. Follow the steps below to register it manually:

  1. Open Command Prompt:

    • Click Start -> Run...
    • Type cmd or command and click OK.

  2. Change Directory (for 64-bit Windows only):
    Enter this command: 

    cd C:\Windows\SysWOW64

  3. Register the DLL:
    Run this command: 

    regsvr32 ir50_32.dll

After completing these steps, the codec should be properly registered and ready to use.

Alternative Option

I've attached an installer you can try if the steps above don't work. However, the manual method listed has worked for me. - MRG

Or you can just use compatibility for xp(pack 2)on the exe for fixing the white screen cutscenes issues

also the weird issue that game has is that some enemies dies before there's enough time to shoot them maybe an fps issue

Game is still broken.  You can play the entire game without firing a single shot and all the enemies will be dead.  some of them even spawn onscreen already dead.  also crashes if you try to select anything in test menu.

Yes, with the Female character everything works properly now beside test mode. Male character, the enemies still suicide.
