And check if your "ps2" file in the "memcards" folder is named exactly as it appears in your acgame file on the line "dongle=RRVAC.ps2".

Is your .chd (178mo) named the same way as the entry on the `mediasrc` line in your `acgame` file?

yes its already correct.

i already renamed rrvac. chd to  NM00001 RRV1-A (CD-ROM).chd same as the entry after mediasrc in acgame ?

Is this has to do with controls setup or not related?

i want to shed some light that the structure of my rom list is under THIS PC/Documents/PCSX2x6/

The emulator however is unzipped and extracted along its contents on my 😧 D drive. under a folder called Ridge racer.

If you’ve set up a custom folder structure, I won't be able to help you. The best approach is to start with Emusempre’s complete pack,
stick to the folder structure he used, and then add your games one by one while following the same configuration, folder hierarchy,
and naming conventions—that way, everything will work. It’s too complicated to troubleshoot when everyone has custom setups,
especially if the underlying logic of the folder structure isn't fully understood.

Hello guys, do you know where is possible to download these roms?

- kinnikuman muscle grand prix 1&2

- the battle of yuyu hakusho

- all the gundam games

- alpine racer 3

I mean the versions ready to play to put in the roms folder of the pcsx2

Thank you very much for your help :)

Sorry I was confused, I thought Alpine Racer 3 and Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis came also as arcade.

I'm really having troubles making the games folder with all the files needed. Is there a simplified and clear guide to do it?

Yeah but EMusempre's pack is 13 gb big . I only need the structure for Ridge Racer 5 AB. I hope its uploaded separately . Thanks .

Yeah, it’s a huge pack—and it doesn't even include every single game—but I was struggling to get Ridge Racer running too.
So, I downloaded the pack even though I already owned all the games
it helped me figure out how to organize the folders and files so everything would work.

I need only the acgame files and the sram bin files. I will start the hunt on thousands pages ><

SRAM files are generated when you start the game: you launch the game, go to "Test," configure your settings,
return to the game, and then quit—this creates the SRAM file with your specific calibrations. As for the ACGame files, I can share mine to help you out,
provided you've kept the same folder structure as the Emusmpre pack.

You need to make sure your CHD and memory card files are named exactly as they are in the `acgame` folder.
Also, in PCSX2X6, you shouldn't point the list to the entire "roms" folder; instead,
add the individual game folders one by one—for example, `rrvac`, `rrvac1`, and so on.

Thank you so much, I totally missed the memory card files and still don't know where to get them, I'll search again..in the DONGLE Files folder maybe?

Here you have the dongles to put into the memory cards; they are usually named just like in my "acgame" files.
Click on the games in the list, and you'll find the memory card file to download along with the game ISO (only download the specific "NM00..." file you need.
refer to the "acgame" files to see which one corresponds to each CHD).

You'll need to unzip them and then change the .bin extension to .ps2 for each dongle.

allright thank you infinitely. I'll do it and tell you so :)

Place all .ps2 dongle files into the "memcards" folder and the System 246 and 256 BIOS files into the "bios" folder.
Once you have the "roms," "memcards," and "bios" folders fully set up at the root of your emulator directory,
delete all other emulator files and folders (keeping only roms, bios, and memcards). Replace them with a fresh,
clean download of pcsx2x6. Then, launch pcsx2x6, go to "gamelist," and open each game folder one by one—do not run a full scan,
as that will mess things up; you need to process each game folder individually.
Next, go to the exclusions section and do the same for each game folder one by one to exclude the boot.elf and proverb.elf files.
You will then have a nice game list in pcsx2x6, and all you'll have to do is click on a game to play.

For the Taiko games, you need the 256 BIOS and the system set to "System 256" in `acgame`—it's not 246.

I changed in the .acgame of Taiko 7 the platform from 246 to 256 and now works perfect. Thanks!! 😁

If you have the correct, working CHD files for Taiko 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11,
could you—if you have the time and inclination ;)—put together a small pack? Mine keep giving me an "invalid disk" error.

Regarding the link you shared about game compatibility via the emulator:
they say Taiko 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 work, but I keep getting an "invalid disk" error. Do they work for you?

I don't do the drum games. sorry. Just checking 11 and 12 i get the same.

I downloaded all them links and all work. After all. that's why they are there. all anyone had to do was change the subdir= if needed. lol

Any other error is a user error. make sure your up to date on the emulator, also. :) plus you also have to check on the General game compatibility tracker some only boot to attract mode or don't work.

Thanks ;) I'm not sure what's causing it, then. "Invalid disk" made me think of the CHD,
but I downloaded others and even converted some ISOs to CHD, and it's still the same issue. Plus, there aren't any dongles or easy ways to edit an arcade game =)
I'll take a look at it when I've got a clear head.

Holy smokes. now that i look there are like 2-3 of each. lol wow. none of them work for you? both .img and chd load in games.. .chd saves space. good. EXAMPLE: The IDOLM@STER img  is 38gb the .chd is 4.3gb but only can boot to attract. as the site said. also only can do 1 credit and the game needs 2 to start and is touch.. needs to be online.

What do you mean, "3 of each"? If I get Taiko 7, is there a CHD and an ISO that need to be converted to CHD?

I only tested it with Taiko 7, using two different CHD files and every possible dongle and memory card combination.
It’s possible PCSX2x6 has a bad configuration saved in memory, but I wouldn't know where it stores that data so I could wipe it and start fresh.

I am wondering if the 256Region= should be added in. as of now it's just 0 and uses the sram for region. but they didn't add that for some reason. i think because most of these games Don't have the option eng, japan. ect.

meaning  games 51,53,54 different regions. sorry. some memory's don't flush. they lock until a reboot or log out. you never know. So no-one has these working. all i seen was Vman showing it. i first got a boot error then that system error.

It's weird—Taiko 12, 13, and 14 booted up perfectly on the first try, but the other Taiko games just won't work; I get an "invalid disk" error.
