Bien plus fun que Dream Raiders, je trouve.

A noter par rapport au post :

il faut débrancher vos joy si vous en avez de connecter.

 

Et aussi le fichier ini tel que posté ne fonctionnait pas sur ma conifg. J'ai mis  :

I tested this game to no avail

codecs but it still crashes with video error, at one point it locked up my desktop, my try a VM??

 

Note: 2 - Tried the ini settings you provided videos work but it crashes before game.. :(

Ok tried a vm = sound driver FAIL this game is very picky...

You can try to activate the win XP (SP3) compatibility.

I have done that on my computer.

And it works.

Also having problems trying to get this to work :*(

 

You have to set game.exe to work in Windows XP SP3 compatability mode to get the intro video to work but after that game.exe just crashes.

 

Has anyone managed to get the game working and if so what's in your config file?

Je n'ai même pas la vidéo dont parle Pooterman.

I didn't get the video intro movie at first unit I set game.exe to run in Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode - try that

Yeah I've tried all those things including a shot at game loader just for the hell of it NOPE it crashes shortly there after...

Does this game need to be run from a specific driver letter and folder name?

 

Keep getting I/O error on launch, even when using the posted configs and WinXP SP3 mode set.

 

Does anyone know how to fix that please?

Yep a massive thankyou to Mehanizm over on 1cc he has released and made available to the community some great games. Please show your thanks to him. I cannot get into the service menu to hopefully change the region by pressing s but can access the test menu. The game runs well for me but I get audion with no videos on the intos etc hopefully someone has information to fix this

It works twice, thankfully, I manage to clear the game once. Now, the .exe is broken again, same error as before :gene:

I change the driver once more, not working. But the joke is that my first copy on C: worked twice.

Ok I made a d: drive and i throws up I/O error

VM throws sound error..

Windows 10 XP3 mode with KLITE installed plays all the intro vids etc but crashes after start game button is pressed.

Seems a codec or file is missing??

Just posted this over on 1cc.

Yep played this all the way through and its a really fun little game thanks Mehanizm. The only issue I have is it seems the beginning demo video is missing or just not playing, all the other between level vids play. If anyone knows how to fix it that would be great. Cheers everyone

Im running on windows 7 32 and 64 incase you need the info. I get no issues or glitches all the way through plays flawlessly except for the demo video not showing

J'ai testé ce jeu!! Ca marche puis ça marche plus!!! Ce sont les grands groupes qui nous observent!!! Ils n ous bloquent avant que le RAID vienne nous abattre!!

Nous sommes contraire à la grande consommation!! Nous sommes des ennemies de la république!! Vous n'aurez pas ma haiiiine!

Those of you still having issues with this game, try this link.  It has the fixed exe. and adjusted ini file.  One thing I learned recently is that you had to copy and rename one of the video files to avoid the error messages.  Anyways this file should work.  Just change the resolution in the ini folder based on your TV/Monitor and you're golden.  https://mega.nz/#!hYE2hQqL!7cdB7b5UI10XWcxJKkhn89i3RcSQa4uKJlvZZFfW_BE

Not sure what you are referring to??? I forgot to add the Region U in my ini.  You'll need that or else the movies might be a black screen.

I bypassed that error by renaming the movie folder to moviez which lets me only play the cutscene audio and not play the clip to avoid crashing.

Thanks 7zxkv with your exe, I can play on W10 2560P after settings the haunted2.ini to the right resolution.

Even though it's a Global VR game (only outside of Asia/Japan), it's still ran on Taito Type X hardware because every Taito Type X executables that run the game are named "game.exe".
