Exception works well with tp only test menu not and opengl32.dll needs to be deleted for the game to boot.

I'm trying to run Samurai Spirits Sen for NESiCAxLive using iDmacX v2.0

1) I put the iDmacDrv32.dll (x86 version) in the game folder

2) I run JConfig.exe (32 bit version) to configure the commands

3) when I run game.exe the game starts but stops at a screen that says "I/O error"

Am I missing some step?

I think and this is only from memory that there are some extra settings in Jconfig for NXL games in a kind of sub menu, also I believe you can use dx9 wrapper with it, IO error would suggest something to do with controls though obviously, there may be extra setting for them as well, its a good while since I run this game with jconfig, is there maybe a stand alone version for this game also?, I think for some reason it is a different dll file it needs for this game.

If the game still doesn't work, the steam version isn't working either.
Check.
If it doesn't work, run cmd as administrator and write this command.
Steam and Nesica versions will work without any problems.
"setx OPENSSL_ia32cap ~0x20000000"

Well, a little late, but here's a fix for Yatagarasu:

1. Download "Locale Remulator" (If you search in google, it's the first and second pages). Read in the page if you need to download other support files (.Net, Vc, Directx...)

2. Install it

3. Right click on "game.exe" or "NESICA_Unlocker"

4. On the Tab "Locale Remulator X64", click on "Run in Japanese"

Voila! You can even make a shortcut if you choose "Edit profile list".

Alternatively, if you want to make it portable, copy all the content from the Locale Remulator install folder into the game folder and then make a bat or AHK file to launch it.

Ok I added also a few examples of bat and AHK files for you to download. 

 

Btw. "Locale Remulator", unlike the other similar program "Locale Emulator", can also be used in 64bit games.

Is there a version of jconfig that run kof2002um nesica widescreen 1080p? The default 480p 4:3 with borders is really bad...
Game Loader All Rh has a delay and doesn't remove the borders

Hi, I installed lav filters first but I get black screen, no sound on "King of fighters 98 ultimate match"

then installed "k-lite" and it told me to uninstall lav filters: black screen again

 

Installed all visualC , directx and "oalinst.exe" but nothing changed...

 

edit : Both KOF 98 (ultimate match and ultimate match final - TP) don't work...I tried grangler suggesions and also tried with wine and dgvoodoo but nothing changed... maybe is a windows 11 problem

For those who are getting a black screen on KOF98 and KOF 2002 NESICA versions, you must execute HD.reg or SD.reg file (depending of your resolution). A rar with the files is attached. These files also will enable nesica bezzels for some games.

Did you try changing your res to 1080p and see the result? Also, are you using Jconfig or TP to run the games? The fix I posted as far as I know works with Jconfig only.

Do you have a D drive? 

The game requires a D drive, and if you don't have one... black screen is the outcome. 
The D drive redirection patch on jconfig versions prior to the latest one didn't work correctly. 

 

If you're using the latest jconfig version then there's a subst command coded in that will create one for you for the game to run. 

Make sure you have a writable D drive

I'm running in TP and the game is already in D in the teknoparrot folder. So for use with jconfig I need a dump with jconfig inside, right? Can someone share these two games with jconfig files inside? When I have the games , I have to cinfigure my arcade stick in jconfig and then launch from launcher.exe and game.exe, correct?

Steps:

1) Execute NesicaXLive.reg (misc folder)

2) Execute HD.reg (misc folder)

3) Place IDmax32.dll and Jconfig64.exe inside the game folder.

4) Configure JConfig inputs.

5) Executegame.exe

 

Some games have additional content that can be unlocked placing and executing Nesica_Unlocker.exe inside the game folder.
