PCSX2 emulating 2x6 games is going to be awesome! Ridge Racer 5 Arcade will never work on Play! because HLE emulators can’t emulate what’s required to play the game. Same goes for The Idolm@ster. Could be a while for Idolm@ster. Early 2027 at the earliest

RRV Arcade will probably be much sooner. I’m surprised that Smash Court Tennis still is unplayable on Play

Depending on how fast it’s being developed expect to see a lot of games this summer.

PCSX2 2x6 release stream video here on the 9th June time depending on your country

 

 

PCSX2x6 is a brand new fork of PCSX2 aiming to emulate the NAMCO SYSTEM246, the most famous ps2-based arcade platform amongst the 4 platforms based on the best selling console from sony.

This stream will show off how to setup the games and get the emulator going

mid stream, the first public release will be made.

I will probably do a rewrite on the 1st post eventually when things progress with the PCSX2 fork, add links to any recent builds, and files that run the CHD's/ROMS. When all is complete and fully stable I may rule out the Play! Emulator (apart from the 147/148 stuff) as this will be far superior to many users! This would indeed be one of the most legendary thing that's happened in emulation!

Well, I believe you Sir!  The Linuxloader team is already setting the bar very high this year, looking forward to your magic!  ...exciting times indeed, the scene needs more talented people like you guys, can tell the heart is there!

This will avoid endless requests from everywhere, and I can take care of adding many other mirror links.

Any help from anyone will be amazing. I've not been the person who has compiled and tested any ROM's/CHD's for this emulator, so I'm clueless if you can still use the Play! images or MAME CHD's etc. If anyone can put the games that already work/boot up, can they upload them somewhere together so they're ready to download on the alpha build I will be very greatful and add to the first post! Many thanks!

Yes there is some early builds available on github, but the major fixes will come only on first public alpha release.

Yes, thats because i forgot to include dongle (recognized as memcard) on older link, i had to reup that file with dongle included.

The racing games don’t have analog JVS hookups yet, so, I could play Moto GP or Ace Driver 3. Tekken 4, both Soul Calibur games, and Smash Court play well. First time playing the arcade version of Smash Court & the first time being able to play the arcade version of SC2 with proper AI. Also, I’d like to try out other games. How do you make the .ps2 memory cards for these games? Do you convert the MAME ROMs?

According to the Github page these are so far the playable titles:

- Smash Court Pro Tournament

- Soul Calibur II

- Time Crisis 3

- Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta - A.E.U.G. vs. Titans DX

- Capcom Fighting Jam

- Cobra - The Arcade

- Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Prix

- Soul Calibur III - Arcade Edition

- The Battle of YuYu Hakusho - Deathmatch! Dark Martial Arts Association

- Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Prix 2

- Sengoku Basara X

- Mobile Suit Gundam - Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT

 

As WildWolf has suggested for a purpose of an easy download to avoid a flood of requests probably the best solution is an official batch uploaded on Archive.com

Is there a page of games that can be downloaded on Internet Archive that are already converted?
