This is a rhythm game with 7 keys and 1 turntable.

Before opening the game:

• Right click the volume icon > Sounds > Click on the Default Device > Properties > Advanced > 2 channel, 16 bit, 44100 Hz
• Open spicecfg.exe, set your buttons, go to “Cards” then click “Generate”.

To play the game and save scores:

• Open asphyxia-core-win-x64.exe then spice64.exe
• Press + on the numpad to insert your card

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately none of the settings appeared to resolve the issue. Luckily I had an untouched copy of the HDD data backed up on a flash drive, so I copied that over, reapplied Spice, and it worked immediately. Couldn't retrieve my old save files though for some reason (game would load my profile but couldn't save over it), so I made a new file.

I finally fixed my issue. Basically because I run 120Hz + touch panel second monitor, I had to play around with some of the patches in Bemani Patcher. I had to remove some of the settings I had activated for HV Omni, and now it works. Basically, if you get a USBIO error, just play with the Bemani Pacher options you have selected for you DLL file. Or message me and I will send you my settings if you want.

Yes, but it needs to be touch I believe. My setup uses both screens. Also I think your main screen needs to be 120Hz for it to work. Also if you have more than 2 screens, make sure the other screens are disabled (I use Display Fusion to manage all that). You will need to enable this in the Options tab of Spiceconfig and also run your bm2dx.dll file through Bemani Patcher and select the right options for it to work correctly. Let me know if you need more info.

For 120Hz Lightning mode , do you leave "Force 120Hz timing ..."  unchecked in the patcher?   Is simply launching the game on a 120Hz capable display all that's required for the game to detect & play at 120Hz?

Mae sure your screen is set to 120hz if you can control it from there. Otherwise you can control this from Nvidia Control Panel. Make sure to force 120hz from there. You don't need to use the Force 120hz Timing option in the patcher

 

No idea what the Shim Lightning Mode IO does, but I didn't have it checked for HV Omni, and it worked. Here it seems required, but I can't confirm. All I know is that these are the options that work for me, and I had to play around with them a bit, as my previous HV settings were not working with Bistro.
