Xemu est une application multiplateforme et open source qui émule le matériel de la console de jeu Xbox d’origine, permettant aux utilisateurs de jouer à leurs jeux Xbox sur les systèmes Windows, macOS et Linux.

 

Ce projet est une branche active du projet XQEMU, qui est lui même basé sur le projet QEMU qui est populaire et très activement maintenu.

Personne n'a commenté ce topic, avez-vous réussi à booter un iso avec cet ému? Ça fait 2 jours que j'essaie avec divers tutoriels, j'ai installé un dashboard mais il ne lance toujours aucun jeu... J'ai vu qu'il faisait tourner Conker et Panzer Dragoon Orta avec le son. Si quelqu'un arrive à la faire marcher ce serait possible de m'envoyer un zip de vos fichiers en mp svp?

Up: ça y est j'ai trouvé!!! Si vous prenez des iso redump aucun ne fonctionne, il faut les réencoder via XboxMulleter et là ils se lancent! Conker et Panzer Dragoon en fluide c'est trop puissant :D Par contre le son bugue encore pas mal mais c'est en cours d'amélioration!

Humm; perso je trouve que CXBX est 1000000x plus convivial...J'arrive a lancer quelques jeux...Mais Conker(ou Crimson Skies)...pas moyen, il clignote au démarrage ou crash direct  et rien d'autre :/

Bon a force d'insister...Conker s'est ENFIN lancé...mouai version NTSC vu que la PAL ya rien a faire :/

Bref cela semble tourner, mais c'est moche x_x

Plus qu'a attendre l'upscaling.

Je m'y suis mis plus sérieusement...et si l'ont fait abstraction du fait que c'est pas très joli, cela fonctionne vraiment pas mal.

Mes problèmes de jeux qui ne fonctionnaient pas était du au logiciel de conversion des jeux...Maintenant tout roule.

Chez moi ça tourne bien mais les jeux rament pas mal. Mon CPU n'est pas très performant en single-core. Vous pensez que ça peut venir de là?

Panzer Dragoon ça peut aller bien qu'au début du chapitre 2 ça rame et Dead or Alive 3 ça rame à fond par contre. J'ai vu sur youtube un gars chez qui c'est super fluide mais il a un i9 10900k et je sais qu'en single-core c'est très performant.

Je n'ai pas encore réussi à faire fonctionner Crimson skies et Halo 2 je vais essayer.

 

Avec CXBX ça tourne mieux mais malheureusement peu de jeux fonctionnent dessus c'est dommage.

Pour info sur PC est sorti la collection Master Chief. Tu as donc tous les Halo (dont le Halo remaster) jouables sur PC. Moi qui voulais essayer le 2 qui est considéré comme le meilleur je vais plutôt le faire sur PC sans passer par un émulateur

 

EDIT : Putain d'émulateur à la con... il y a un énorme bug dans Crimson skies. Impossible de reprendre une mission si vous arrêtez le jeu. Au moment de reprendre la caméra reste fixe et ne bouge pas pour montrer la mission à faire...

Donc bien pour tester le début mais ne comptez pas finir le jeu sauf si vous êtes motivé pour le faire d'une seule traite et ça prend environ 5h d'après une vidéo sur youtube!

J'avais bien avancé pour finalement rien!

Just trash xdvdmulleter all isos i made with turn to screwed.

Get any isos, extract with GX XGD Extract in a folder, and with CreateISO make a new iso.

All work fine there.

Will give it a go. Thanks for the reply. I have spent 10 hours downloading, building, rebuilding, ripping to no avail with various tools. I still get the "please insert xbox disk" every time...

No luck. I cannot get this emulator to boot any image I create with any program. I have also tried multiple bios files. I do not understand what it is I am doing wrong. I have used xdvdmulleter, extract-XISO, GX XD extract with createiso, c-xbox tool...nothing. I still get the dreaded "please insert an xbox disk" message.

(Use 'Xbox bios no dashboard clean harddrive image.7z If you don't want dashboard like the original xbox or download 'Original xbox dashboard for xemu (4817).7z' If you do, The emulator saves your games either way)

Instructions

1.Launch xemu.exe - It will ask you to change settings on first launch. If not, go into settings.
2.Copy all files from the bios you downloaded to xemu directory) 'Either with or without dashboard, doesn't matter'.
3.
Set the Flash bios to - Complex_4627v1.03.bin
Set MPCX to - mcpx_1.0.bin
Set harddrive image to - xbox_hdd.qcow2

Note - You can ignore the eeprom.bin file <-- That is just for saving bios settings etc like real xbox does (If you don't enter anything for the eeprom directory it will create the file itself and place it in C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\xemu\xemu. But for the love of gowd make a backup of it and the .qcow2 harddrive image and your bios if you have save data. If the eeprom is different to the bios/harddrive image. it will corrupt your save games if you use someone else's epprom.bin

4.Download a game from - https://archive.org/download/xbox_eng_romset
5.Download https://downloads.diodematrix.com/homeb ... win32/gui/ (extract-xiso_gui_v1.0_win32_by_huge.zip and install)
6.Launch extract xiso and click 'Create XISO'. Browse for your downloaded game and create an iso (Obviously extract the downloaded game first)

Open the iso with xemu and it should boot and be playable. (You will need to set your controller up in 'inputs' etc.)

Does xemu work with iso only no folder format? I can't load folder. 

 

I did just try ISO but the emulator just closes. I opened iso set it to open with xemu. I set the bios. 

 

Edit: I see now that the redump ISOs such as from archive.org don't work and you have to rebuild folder formater with XDVDMulleter, but it requires layout files and the site that had them were down. Does anyone have a solution?

you can't 'cause you need to install a dash for xemu and xbmc then ftp the folders and you are ready to go

its not simple if you don't know how to start

I just got it to work! Booted Tao Feng Fist of the Lotus and ToeJam & Earl III the two games I couldn't get to work on my Xbox 360 RGH. Need folder format and convert with XDVDMulleter to ISO. Do not try to download already made ISOs they won't work. You don't need a dash and you do not need ftp. You only need a proper ISO. I did find some other bios though so maybe that is why others could still have problems if so let me know I'll upload the bios.

I was never talking about chihiro nor did I use that word I have those games elsewhere I just wanted the emulator to work period.

anyway best way to convert xbox redump isos or folders is qwix not xdvdmulleter 'cause qwix can patch the xbe

No biggie, Im happy right now I had my original Xbox hooked up for two games now they're working on PC. 

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

I am however getting a black screen on ToeJam after boot screen and it was just working. Not sure why.

i dont know that game but xemu is not as good as it seems

it boots many games but no one is good at one hundred percent

try using qwix as i told you in previous shout could be the iso you made is not good

or use cxbx

I did try qwix it did the same thing but I asked on github got an immediate answer to try a different xbox hdd image and it fixed it.

good on their discord they pinned the hdd image to use forgot to informed

keep qwix as conversion tool

 

use isos from here https://archive.org/details/xboxcds

unpack using xdvdmulleter then patch the xbe with qwix and repack the iso with qwix

you will get a perfect iso for xemu

Thanks, I'm pretty much set though I have an RGH 360 that has most of my original Xbox games on it, but ToeJam and Tao Feng never worked for it I tried for years even doing hex edits and things but never worked and now today I finally got to work on PC. I'm giving my original Xbox that's hacked away to a friend because those were the only two reasons I kept it.

no chihiro game can be emulated and before someone pop in here sayng vc3 or2beta gse are emulated i say they are not real chihiro games they are just made to help developers to port arcade chihiro to og xbox in fact they work on a modded og xbox and real chihiro games don't because a modded og xbox and the two emulators we have are not capable to emulate jvs i/o pcb

 

naomi is very similar and triforce is almost the same and im almost sure the demul guys could do it but seems they dont give a shit to this as they dont give a shit to update demul so we need to wait for someone else 'genius' as we are waiting for hyperneogeo konami/m2 and other old gems

ToeJam & Earl III the xemu site says playable but I tried USA and PAL you collect 5 keys then enter the first door and it black screens. I would love it if someone else could try it but I doubt anyone cares about that game but me. 

 

I know how to find both USA and PAL there's only one place on the internet that has the PAL version that I know of if you are interested in trying it.

Fixed it, the xbox_hdd.qcow2 seems to get corrupted or something. I had to replace it again and I can get past that door.

Does anyone know why I can't get Midtown Madness 3 to load. I tried downloading every version I could find but I don't think I was able to find PAL version on the internet at all, and I think I have all the sites that have Xbox ISOs except maybe torrents which I don't use. I tried converting with DVDMulleter and QWIX and patched the xbe, but it just stays at loading screen . 

 

 

I just tried Backgamons new version too but it made no difference.

 

The only PAL version I could find the ISO is like 6 gb does anyone know how to convert it to regular ISO? It wont work in Xemu.

Figured out how to convert PAL DVD-9 to folder than standard ISO and it worked. Only PAL works.

Sinon Conker Bad Fur Day marche très bien ainsi que Halo 2, Panzer Dragoon et Crimson Skies. Par contre il y a un bug pour les saves de Crimson Skies.

OIC, some of these PAL ISOs are getting very difficult to find on the internet. I know for ToeJam & Earl III I had to find some forum I had never heard of nextgenroms where someone just happened to post it a few years ago if not AFAIK it wouldn't exist on the internet at all. And that includes ByAlvro, downloadgamexbox etc... PAL version wasn't there only USA.
