That's awesome, it must have been difficult because that's one of the best arcades and it came out in the 90s, that and Soul Calibur 1 were the two most surprising arcades not emulated I was just thinking about that two months ago. Does it require subscription?

I hope they do a Jconfig or something, I know it's not much money but I just don't do subscriptions on anything. 

 

Til then, guess I'll stick with Dreamcast version which isn't bad.

Where do you find new Jconfigs anyway?  I can only find the older ones.

Good question, to be honest I don't even know if the guy or people who made those still does. It will probably only work in Teknoparrot with a subscription until Teknoparrot devs decide to make it free.

Same issue for me, despite using the 4G patcher. I just loads but nothing happens. Anyone got it working yet?

Really? I thought it was broken for all I've had other people have the same error I'm getting and even talked to someone on discord that said he's had the same issue for almost a year. It just gets stuck on this cmd screen.

 

 

As you can see towards the bottom of this page it's not just me either

Right after that window should  be another cmd line window opening simultaneously, loading the pt2s_g11 file then boot to game.

try this one just for the hell of it. runs, custom res ticked or not. i run it at 1920X1080. PT2

Not all sound issues have been fixed. Still no audio from the engines while you race. Hoping for a fix!

Just tested Hydro Thunder latest version and just get "Midway, Midway" during gameplay. Slow as well.

Silent Scope isn't supported by spicetools.  there's currently no way to fully load the game & play it.

I sent this same dump to the programmer at Teknoparrot—and I won't mention his name—and he said it was possible, but it would require rewriting the entire KONAMI loader, and he's not currently working on it. It's an ongoing Teknoparrot project, but he can't give a release date.

I told him that maybe for this game, which they can't emulate, what a friend of mine suggested would be better: But yeah, the game is really unique and cool to play. But again, really hard to replicate at home. I guess the best would be to use a phone with gyro and compass sensors to replicate the gun, as a mouse wouldn't do it justice. And then, he banned me. I can't be on the Discord anymore. They kicked me out. And I even gave him the game data, just like you guys.

So you blindly messaged coffee, sent him copyrighted game data which has been publicly available for quite some time, and bugged him to make it playable?  

So now you wonder as to why you got banned?  That's like 3-4 of the server rules broken at one time.

I didn't mean to mention the name; you just revealed who it was yourself. Indeed, Cooffee. I have more influence than you think. I speak with Konami Spain, who in turn speak with Japan. And that game doesn't have the rights, as you say. Just like the games you have emulated on your platform, like Lethal Enforcers 3, Castlevania, etc., etc., don't either. Konami Spain replied and told me they might release the official game on Steam, translated. So my worries about this game will be over. The last thing to do is be disrespectful and insulting.

It's simply that it's very difficult to emulate and takes a lot of work, which is why you haven't done it yet. You've had the public dump for over three years now.

Your ban was issued for violating multiple server rules.
 

You directly sent copyrighted game files to a developer via DM without being asked. This is explicitly prohibited under:

2️⃣ Sending links to sites hosting copyrighted content (i.e game dumps, asset files, etc), discussing sites dedicated to game dumps, and asking where to find game dumps / for game dumps is prohibited. Do not try to bypass restrictions or chat filters.

You also repeatedly contacted and pressured a developer in DMs to make the game playable. That violates:

🔟 Decisions are final. Bothering the admins/developers and begging will not get you anywhere.
Do not DM the developers/administrators about help!

Additionally:

1️⃣2️⃣ Harassment includes passive-aggressive behavior, sarcasm aimed at staff, or repeated nagging. If you act in bad faith, even if it's "polite," you may still be removed.

Sending copyrighted material directly to a developer puts the project and its staff at legal risk. That alone is grounds for immediate removal.
 

Beyond the rule violations, directly DM’ing a developer with game files, and then harassing them about development is one of the fastest ways to ensure they will not want to work on that game at all. Developers work on things they want to.  Being a subscriber or not doesn't mean you have free roam to say whatever you want, when you want.  Pressuring them privately, especially in a way that creates legal exposure, damages trust and motivation.

The ban will remain in place.
