i hate spongebob cos its anti gen x animation, but i love these type of things cos its hilariously  'try hard' using it for a arcade machine i find that too funny , how the game actually plays i would guess at moderate at best, but still be funny IF it actually was any good, god on them for trying tho  🤣

Thanks for appreciating my stickers... 🙂
Maybe it's because I'm french but I don't see the real purpose of your post... Sorry... 🙏
In your video I see Daytona USA with it's original textures in a high resolution provided by Model2 Emu...
If you launch my video from my signature you'll see a different visual result (the goal I wanted to reach).
All the textures in my pack are personal recreations (Photoshop and time). 506 png files may be the number of textures I visually wanted to change (a few textures ingame haven't been dumped nor modified as they were not really visible or not very important).
What else could I answer ?

yeah lost in 'translation' i love ur pics 💜

As I see that there is no topic that talks about the RGB-PI and that I have been using it since 2017, I open this topic dedicated to the cable and the RGB-PI system.

Plug and play cable, you plug you play
    fafq.jpg

The RGB-PI is a scart cable (RGB) for CRT television (cathode ray tube) which connects to the GPIO port of the Raspberry and which allows to output an image in low resolution in "PIXEL PERFECT" (same resolution and rate of image refresh than original consoles and games) 224p/240p/15khz/18bit RGB in PAL (50hz) and NTSC-US and NTSC-JAP (60hz) as for Consoles, Computers and Arcade games from era but with a greatly improved image and sound since at the time most consoles were sold with a composite cable (yellow, red and white plugs) which gave the screen a very disgusting image with runny colors which sparkled so much it hurt your eyes. With the RGB-PI it's pure RGB with bright, precise colors and improved sound.RGB-PI

    Scart RGB-PI (compatible Raspberry Pi 2B, 3A, 3A+, 3B, 3B+, 4 and 400)

The RGB-PI OS is a system a bit like Recalbox except that it is intended to be used with the RGB-PI cable on old cathode-ray televisions, CRT or PVM screens with a scart input (RGB) to render on the screen the most beautiful and perfect image possible, the system includes a good fifty Console, Computer and Arcade emulators, of which here is the list:Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari Linx, Atari 400 / 800 / XE / XL / 5200, Atari 520ST, Atari 1040ST, Commodore 64, Commodore AMIGA 500 / 600 / 1200, Commodore AMIGA CD / AMIGA CD32, Sharp X68000, MSX, ZX Spectrum, Wonder Swan, Wonder Swan Color, ColecoVision, NeoGeo (with unibios 3.2), NeoGeo CD, NeoGeo Pocket, NeoGeo Pocket Color, Sega SG-1000, Master System, Mega Drive, Mega Drive 32X, Mega CD, Game Gear, Famicom Disk System, Nes, Super Nes, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo64, PC Engine, CoreGraft, Super Grafx, TurboGrafx-16, TurboGrafx-CD, PC Engine CD ROM, Playstation 1, Amstrad CPC, Atari 520ST , 1040ST, Amiga 500, 600, 1200, PC DOS, Scummvm and for Arcade games ADVMAME, FBANeo, MAME 2003-plus, MAME2010 (in TATE and YOKO mode)All systems are emulated to perfection in their true resolution and their true frequencies and refresh rate of image per second (PIXEL PERFECT), it's exactly the same rendering as on the screens at the time but much better seen that it's pure RGB (stable, clear and precise image, bright colors, etc.)

The monthly English magazine EDGE specialized in video games for the month of May 2022 devoted 2 pages to RGB-PI

    - mame2003-plus (MAME 0.78)
    - mame2010 (MAME 0.139)

The material to have (I put what I bought with the links)

    1. The RGB-PI scart cable (available on the official website: RGB-PI ) I paid mine for €30 and received it within 5 days.
    2. A Raspberry Pi3 ( thepihut )
    3. A power supply for the Raspberry Pi3 ( thepihut ) (IMPUT: 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.5A Max OUTPUT 5V 3000mA) 4. A box ( thepihut ) 5. A 16GB micro card for installed the RGB-PI OS system in its latest version (2020.12.12) ( SanDisk Ultra 16GB microSDHC ) 6. A USB key to install the games ( SanDisk Ultra Fit 256GB USB 3.1 )

    7. A compatible USB controller or USB controller adapter to play with the controllers of the original consoles (I personally use an XBOX360 wireless and a USB Arcade Stick)

I live in Belgium and I always buy blank media from Amazon.de (Germany) since in Germany you don't pay tax on blank media so it's much cheaper there.

is my point of view, for the price 30€ you have the cable with a mini PCB in the connector which improves and stabilizes the image then on the Telegram group you have access to sorted packs, scraps, videos, music, skins, etc. there is a really good community, mainly Spanish (I use GOOGLE Translate for dialogue) and a good follow-up with regular updates. For the past few weeks they have also been working to make the cable compatible with Raspberry Pi4. There are still some small things to improve but it's all good. there is a really good community, mainly Spanish (I use GOOGLE Translate for dialogue) and a good follow-up with regular updates. That's all I play anymore, there's nothing more beautiful than playing retro games on a CRT screen with a perfect image and a sound that sucks so much that I connected everything to a stereo amplifier + TV sound. It's just a killer to rediscover your games in such quality, I compared with friends who have the real consoles and there's no picture even for them it's superior in terms of rendering on the video screen and sound.

At the time most consoles were sold with a composite cable + scart adapter, the image was just atrocious, that's why most console manufacturers sold the RGB cable separately, if you wanted the quality you had to pay for it, moreover the image was often decentered, with the RGB-PI you know how to refocus it correctly and they added a sound equalizer which allows you to adjust the sound parameters yourself or to choose predefined settings, you also know how to activate the FM sound for the Master System, you have the possibility of saving up to 5 different games in any game, activated the unibios 3.2 for the NeoGeo which allows you to activate the cheats (invincibility, no time, max power gauge, etc.), unlock bosses or secret characters, activated red blood and fatalities, listened to the sound tracks (Music) of NeoGeo games via the Juke-Box, etc... more.

You finally know how to play the NeoGeo CD without any loading time, the sound is just terrible (I wrote the sound well ), same for the AMIGA CD32, Amiga CDTV and for the Mega CD, played Final Fight CD with the sound at bottom ca kills.

There are still a few small flaws, such as the controller keyboard conflict (when you plug in a keyboard the controller no longer works unless you unplug the keyboard) or if you use different controllers (this would be a problem due to Retroarch) but there is often has updates. I play with the XBOX360 wireless controller (without cable), the Mega Drive controller and the Arcade PS2 stick SNK Vs Capcom Fighter Stick: SNK Edition via USB adapters.

Some skins I created, skins based on my favorite games,
    the others are here: https://www.mortaca.com/rgb-pi/wiki/index.php?title=Skins_repository

Small pictures of the rendering on my Raspberry Pi3 CRT screen using the RGB-PI cable under the RGB-PI OS system (20201212), rendered much better than the original consoles thanks to a specially modified RGB cable to run more 48 video game console and computer systems from the 80s and 90s as well as various arcade systems, all in "PIXEL PERFECT", i.e. with the same speed and resolution as the original machines and games but with a much better visual and sound quality.

In photos it looks like this but it's even more beautiful in real life (photos made with my mobile phone of the RGB-Pi OS 2 Final 2.0 version 20201212)

  5. To be fair its about emulation, so the fact you can do it, is the point, BUT HAVING SAID THAT, THE 'LOOK' IS PRETTY GOOD, IT LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE THE ORIGINAL. SO SWITCH HAS DONE A DECENT JOB EMULATING IT, THATS IF U HAVE 'CRT ON, otherwise it looks like shit. ALL SWITCH HAS DONE IS MAKE A HEAP OF RETRO GAMES, SOME ORIGINAL 'INDIE' GAMES, I'M NOT SURE WHAT THEIR DEAL IS, BUT CEMU(wiiU) NEVER HAD THIS AMOUNT OF SHIT IN THEIR LIBRARY. most of switches games are nonsense. some games are actually quite good. but games like pinballfx3 lego star wars, no way I'm going to play those on ryujinx. THIS IS JUST AN EXCERCISE to see if shit works. but i have enjoyed the mario games , the updated DK/ Toad /mario games . 1 gem i found was the dragons Lair trilogy, it works very well , but u see once again its a remake, but it is well made.  THE OTHER REASON I MENTION THIS GAME IS BECASUE MOST OF THESE OLD RETRO GAME BUNDLES DO NOT WORK. N64, SNES ETC..

  6. This SEGA Genesis Mega Drive – Nintendo Switch Online NSP NSZ games working fine now.                                    lego star wars prob working too but u would only want to play the pc version anyway.                                                                                                               is still                                                                                                 nintendo 64   games still   crashing on game and is not working

  7. I guess if you have al the other arcade physical form too ,it would be worth it. I mean if I had the money and space id have a few favourite arcade machines plus mame on one of them - but i cant see myself using one of these on pc. to each his own.  I dont have enough space either . i have lockups here but no space ironically becasue i found this pinball machine but every lockup is taken
