I can confirm that the dump in this thread works

The game is out of subscription, so try updating teknoparrot

For those still having problems 

Download BePinex file (64bit version if using X64 operating system) and extract it.

Copy BepinEx folder and other files to game folder where game .exe is

Click on BepinEx folder and inside it, create new folder and call it plugins

Place the TP dll file inside Plugin folder

Run game

Note, after running game for first time, files are created (including the config file that needs editing)

Quit game

Locate the created Bepin config file, scroll down to [Preloader.Entrypoint] set type=MonoBehaviour

If done correctly, game will work without paper error

I grabbed the updated 3gb one, but like I said, haven't played it yet

Haven't played the game, but think bojo is onto something with his comment.

The working video by snake kimbo has the attendant message error but still manages to get beyond a black screen.

This to me implies that something else is stopping the game progressing further and is not dependent on that attendant error message alone

Click on Actions tab at top of screen

Select build windows on left side of screen

Then select fix build issue. 

Haven't done it myself, think it's the master to select or could be select 0.68

I was amused by the motorbike appearing with a dead rider on it. Almost like the in-game sprites were like fuck it I'm done with this shit....

Try running it in windows 8 compatibility mode. It seems more stable. I played for 10mins or so and it didn't crash
