    Can MKDX Run In a  NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 / Intel® Core™2 Quad Q8300?

No. I tried running this on an 840M laptop which is more powerful than 520, and I only got 20 FPS average, and the game is slowing down.

    GT 520 won't work

    Thank you for the info.

Please, tell us where it has been posted in this section or anywhere else in this site.

Supermodel.ini little difference with latest supermodel.exe:

    ; Network board
    Network = 1

I just haven't updated the post is all. I'll still keep the link for posterity sake.

Maybe it might be needed for one reason or another later.

  3. Will this work with Intel HD 3000? This chip only supports up to DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.1 under Windows (OpenGL 3.3 under Linux), so if this game use either DirectX 11 or OpenGL above 3.1 it wouldn't run, unless I use the really slow Software Rendering.

EDIT : So I tried it and it works. But, the touchscreen is not working properly. Launching the game vanilla without the touch tools works, but the touchscreen is improper and multitouch is not supported. Using the touch tools outright crashes the game once I touched the screen at any time while the game's running.

You got Rhythmvaders / GC4 booted, how ?

Or is this picture arcade hardware ?

It's from the arcade near me actually. Arcades still exist and quite healthy around here.

Heck, I even got my own nesica/banapass/am.pass card with me right now.

Also sad MaiMai machine with cardboard instead of display on the right.

    had duckstation in the past but, i find Xebra and actually the original ePSXe 2.0.5 emu. better as it will play 1 audio track games that have missed files missed audio files such as jonah Lomu Rugby. OR  it will play ps1 iso games that have multi track files. eg; ape escape. but the big one is missing audio track files because others wont do this, in the game JLR game it normally would have repetitive commentary or the 2nd commentator wouldn't show up, but on Xebra it will play the 2nd commentator. these are iso files that just come with 1 track. many ps1 emulators cant handle this, but xebra will . eg;

XEBRA is great for those edge cases and really accurate emulation. Otherwise DuckStation is great if you want to play most games and make those games look really good.

BTW here's my Gran Turismo 1 pictures I took with Beetle PSX HW with PGXP (But you can achieve the same using DuckStation)

mm well then i guess i enjoyed that remake because i played that game late, so i when i played it  is was noticeably pixely . but the remake when i played it was a breath of fresh air.  i never got to play it way way back i only played the pc version many years after it was released , by that stage everything had moved on.  WHAT SPECIFICALLY DID YOU FIND BAD IN THE REMAKE?  it was a lot nicer and smoother than the original

I played both the original and the remake on PC, and the remake looks cheap and weird to me. Doesn't help the saturation and bloom is overblown compared to original.

Maybe I'm just partial to the original, I dunno?

nah, just play the arcade experience, you can still play in 4k and in Widescreen, except its the best in arcade, arcade is always the best because its the real thing and not contrived in any way 😌😁

This. Last time we got a remake it's Panzer Dragoon and it's not good to put it lightly.

Even worse, this remake is made by the same studio as the ones remaking Panzer Dragoon.

i want to build an emulation gaming pc running up to PPSSPP, PS2 with PCSX2, Gamecube, and Wii using the dolphin emulator, 3DS using Citra, and even PS3 using RPCS3 and Wii U with CEMU, since it'a problem to find gpu's i want to do it with a Intel chipset with integrated graphics, i have a 8TB in 3,5 HD, about the form factor i want to be the smallest possible but including my big HD, i also want to add 16GB of ram, which motherboard & chipset combination you recommand ? THX in advance

    What's your budget?

For now though, I recommend any of the higher end AMD Ryzen APUs - https://www.amd.com/en/processors/ryzen-with-graphics

The website only lists the newer ones, but it seems that the R5 3400G is decent enough for most games RPCS3 plays properly - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yxPtHuyPJo

I've even heard there are events sometimes. You should check their discord !

    I should actually.

BTW, can I host my own server with this? Maybe at one point I would love to set up my own personal server with several PCs and Laptops for LAN play. I know you can link the real cabs (I saw up to 4 cabs linked in real life myself), but I would love a centralized server with profiles support.

Few months ago someone asked how to save in BG4T with a NESYS key and I was really interested that too.

Everything you need to know here :

    https://derole.co.uk/nesysrevivalproject/setupguide/

I couldn't believe now we have a fuctioning NESYS server for Battle Gear 4.

I've tried it (although admittedly right now I'm using my other laptop, which is not powerful enough for running the game at 60 FPS, settling for 45-50 instead, so pretty much slowdown city), and it's great. Actually able to customize your car and battling (I assume real people) ghosts is really cool. Can you do online races here too?

Thanks for whoever is involved with this awesome project!

Just upgraded quite a few games from console ISO to arcade rom.

    18 Wheeler (Demul rom)

    Crazy Taxi (Demul rom)

    Tekken (Mame rom)

    Tekken 2 (Mame rom)

    Tekken 3 (Mame rom)

Street Fighter EX Plus (Mame rom)

Street Fighter Ex Plus 2 (Mame rom)

    Bloody Roar (Mame rom)

    Bloody Roar 2 (Mame rom)

    Rival Schools (Mame rom)

    Star Gladiator (Mame rom)

    Plasma Sword (Mame rom)

    Soul Edge (Mame rom)

    War Gods (Mame rom)

I would now be interested in the newer fighters that were on PS2, but I'm not sure if any are working.

I remember Tekken Tag 1 and Soul Calibur works on MAME (But it does use PS1 based arcade board so it looks worse than PS2/DC counterpart).

  12. I just recently got a used X220T, which is a tablet PC with decent specs (i7 2640M, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD). It supports both 2 point capacitive touchscreen as well as pressure sensitive pen support through internal Wacom digitizer.

So, can anyone recommend me a touchscreen game that are both fun to play and supports running on Intel HD3000 at a good performance? I would like to test all of them. But some are large downloads and my internet is spotty at best.

    Thanks for your help!

Do you know if I'm supposed to change any settings? It freezes at the Sony logo for me. My computer is easily powerful enough to handle it so it's not that.

I haven't tried it myself unfortunately. You can probably ask in this discord since I got this bulid from there :

yeah nah  its never been about the cores.  surprised at how many people think this,  4 cores- 6cores is enough, this is only ps3 remember, it wont use anymore than it needs thats how pcs work.  u cant force shit up a hill and think it will play faster and smoother.  i have working 20 cores , its not about that.  the game has emulation flaws which are not ironed out, thats it.  the audio stutters fuk with it. to give u an idea i reduced my screen to 720p or 1080 and its the same 35- 45fps as 4k resolution .  there is only a slight advantage to using 'strict rendering mode' lets say 5fps-8 fps  brings that up to 56 fps. THOSE PATCHES  are of little consequence (for my powerful pc?)  but i keep 4 ticks on. IT CAN BE ABOUT CACHE THOUGH, ONCE I GET CACHE UP I GET MORE FPS. YOU CAN DO THE LITTLE VBLANK 120 TRICK BUT ULTIMATELY NOT  Testing today im at AROUND 48FPS BIT BETTER THAN YESTERDAY.  overall the game plays way better than before but to your point, nope not perfect. BUT VERY PLAYABLE FOR SURE LOVE THIS GAME!😎

AFAIK RPCS3 devs recommend 8C/16T CPUs for best performance, especially for heaviest games like RDR or TLoU. More than this is useless.

For most games though 6 cores should be enough. I finished Persona 5 using 8750H, ran at stable 30FPS. GT HD Concept also runs 60 FPS average with slight dips to high 50s.

The boost/nitro is actually works fine. For me, it's the only way to move forward, because gas is not working... Stearing works too, smooth and responsive. Start is always mapped to enter, but I can live with it. The only button which does not work at all is the acceleration pedal.

Yeah I realize that boost works fine using keyboard after testing. Accel does work fine for me though, so it's weird that it didn't work for you.
