@ZX3000GT1Usually the Chd from here need converting. When I first tried the iso file was 30+ gig. When trying to convert to chd, I got the error. Based on this I figured I'd try the files as they were and it booted ok.

Turns out I missed the fateulcb CHD. Downloading that and now it works. Thanks!

EDIT : Wait, the sound pitch is weird. What's up with that?

@ZX3000GT1 You can make your own arcadedef file easily by cheating. I took an existing arcadedef file and deleted the contents and copy and pasted the one that Hippopippo posted into the blank one. Then simply rename the file fateulc.arcaddef. As for the Chd files, use this link to aquire the files. You don't need to convert them ( It will error when trying to convert the iso back to chd, as I discovered)

    https://www.planetemu.net/rom/mame-chds/fateulc-2

You need the 2 chd files.

Yep. Several posts above I've even shared the arcadedef I made. It crashed just after Init(SND), have tried CHDs from several places, ensuring to convert them to CDVD CHD
Will try downloading from there, thanks!

  3. Anyone has the arcadedef of Fate/Unlimited Codes? I tried making mine and the game crashed right after booting
    Thanks

Also sadly https://archive.org/download/Namco2x6Games/ doesn't have F/UC converted CHD as well

I guess nobody cared about that game 😞

Oh well, whatever I guess lol

    @ZX3000GT1

i just ran game with your arcadedef and it works fine here

Mind telling me where did you find the ROM + CHD for that exact game? Or better, share it here?

Thank you so much if you decided to do so

How do you get Fate/UC working? I'm using the latest version, made the arcadedef (since nobody seems to have the arcadedef for this game in particular), and it always crashes after this

I doubt it’s the same res and there’s a lot of new contents for 6RR

I've played 6RR and it's just 6R but for non Japan players. Similar events and even run on the exact same hardware (pretty much every arcade near me that has 6 directly upgraded to 6RR as soon as it got released).

In fact, read here - https://wanganmaxi-official.com/wanganmaxi6rr/en/special/6rr/

well Akai Katana and DDP Saidaioujou removed from MAME via legal request from Exa-Arcadia recently so you have to go back to a mame version before they removed it

That, or you can just use the cv1k driver from MAME 234 and put it in latest MAME and compile it to run them in latest MAME version (or any MAME version of your choice really).

If whomever cracked DDR, wanted it private - they wouldn't release or discuss it on such public forums such as this or public trackers such as nyaa.

They would release it on private gaming trackers such as https://gazellegames.net/ or https://www.pixelcove.me/. But them doing things discretely isn't a concern.

Well, like I said from the start

It's just an opinion of mine, and I'm unaware with the particulars of game releases like this. It's just that from what I understand it's generally better for the community in general to stick with the n-1 release rule and avoid requesting release of n-0 data. I'm just a humble casual user/player just like a lot of people here, and if there's data, even n-0, I'm not hesitant to use it as well, something I've addressed as well.

The same reason people want Madden 2022, when Madden 2021 just came out last year. Why not have the latest and greatest - if there wasn't market then there wouldn't be a different Call of Duty every 6 months.

People who are concerned about Cease & Desist or worried about lawsuits with DDR, have concerns that are unwarranted. DDR is just another drop in the bucket in the millions of games that pirated every other hour. Nothing special about DDR or Konami, when this girl is releasing a new game every other day https://fitgirl-repacks.site/

Funny that you mention madden - https://www.thegamer.com/madden-19-banner-in-madden-20/

Proves my point really - there's virtually no difference between versions that for all intents and purposes it might as well be the same game. Shows that logically there's absolutely no point to get the so called "latest and greatest" when in reality it's just the same thing.

As for piracy in on itself, while it's easy to see them as "another drop in the bucket", there are instances where crackers for example actually got arrested

    https://www.engadget.com/2018-07-26-notorious-denuvo-gaming-cracker-voksi-arrested-bulgaria.html

It's not dime a dozen mind you, but there's certainly a possibility. Some people would rather avoid that possiblity outright.

Not only that. Simply sharing n-0 data left and right might not get anyone C&D or something, but then what might we get instead is increased protection. On PC games, Denuvo is the most popular one. On arcades, we might have custom protections and the like. I believe that some arcade games had quite a strong protection (IGS and Andamiro stuff IIRC, correct me if I'm wrong).

After all, we don't want arcade games to be protected so hard we can't play it anywhere else, do we?

Did DDR A3 got dumped yet?

    6987326C-57A5-4A5C-969B-2F469258BB92.jpeg

I want to ask this for some time now - what's with the fixation on getting n-0 versions of games nowadays? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind getting it if it's there in public. Not going to be a hypocrite and say I don't enjoy trying the games myself, but it's not like the n-1 and prior versions are that much different anyway (Even moreso with current Bemani titles, apart from some song licensing differences and maaybe some small improvements and/or added features that didn't really change much of anything).

DDR A3 is a slightly updated version of A20, which is a slightly updated version of A. Not much has changed (if any. I'm no more than a casual player so don't quote me on this though) between A-A20-A3 apart for theme changes and songlist. Don't see any reason to fawn over A3 when A20 Plus is already playable anyway.

Having n-1 data in public instead of n-0 ensures that at the very least the chance of getting some random C&D or even a lawsuit for any reason is reduced. It would be better than right now when there are people who wanted to help yet got the knowledge abused and risk future problems. Knowledges can be shared more freely and thus we wouldn't have seen the problems like whateve has happened for the last several months. Of course this is just an opinion of a lurker and I personally think DDR hasn't been that great since X. I'm also nowhere near the part of community who deals with releasing games like this and thus my opinion may or may not be valid. Even then I'd like to voice my opinion once in a while.

there is a HACKED emu so when you charge the modified rom it tells FZERO AX which is supposed to be the arcade version

    give a try at :

    https://1fichier.com/?lmcufkas0jh0i9dikmp0

Emulator (patched) + ROM Japan (Patched) us the rom inside for the Emu

Is that F-Zero GX with AX code? IIRC they're actually different in physics. Actual AX version has different handling compared to GX or GX with AX code.

EDIT : Not only that, the game's camera seems to behave weirdly with the version you give

one silly question ,since i run a 32 bit system ,and since there are no release supporting  it ,can i run by any chance this game on an older version of MAME ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can build latest MAME with 32 Bit support from latest source if you want. It's just that the build provided by MAME themselves is the 64 Bit version only.

You can also pull the old source for older MAME and compile it with the new driver with SDOJ support if you can't build 32 Bit MAME from latest source.

That said if your system only supports 32 Bit I don't think it'll run the game smoothly at all.

I just got a new PC and 144 hz monitor for Christmas, and I'm also suffering from desync issues (Specifically, the sync drifts; it starts off normal, but around the midpoint, the backing music starts to desync). I've set the preferred refresh rate to application-controlled in the Nvidia control panel (both global and program-specific for spice64), but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm not able to lower the refresh rate on my monitor, so is there any other way to run the program at 120Hz, so it will stay in sync? The game runs perfectly fine, aside from the desync.

You can reduce your screen refresh rate actually - I personally use Custom Resolution Utility (https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU). Simply create a resolution with your preferred refresh rate (so if your screen is running at 1920x1080 144Hz, add another resolution option - same resolution, but different refresh rate).

    This is mine for example

    image.png.0952f9d0be9e320a3630843e285de451.png

Just click add, then change the refresh rate to your preferred option (no need to change anything else)

    image.png.ce03d37d124aa7a48dd0d2a80cffdf26.png

Click OK, then restart your PC. You can then change it in Windows Settings

    image.png.bc02b7e42024c212916758d754a44371.png

  14. Need help with this one - launching the exe shows a cmd prompt, then exits. No black screen, no error, no logs, no messages. Tried with every possible exes, including the original, the 120Hz one, the 60Hz one, and the 144Hz one. Every single one is the same.

EDIT : Got it working by putting the game onto root C drive, but it seems that special songs just didn't exist, even with the song unlock exe and the omnimix applied. Is that normal?
