i manage to get it working... you have to rename all to the same name like this (incluing the folder):

image.png.41f7a769b9d3c052c7883f27e8a73785.png

How did you get the cheats to work? I followed this but the cheats wont work. Im trying to use the autoplay cheat

https://github.com/987123879113/pcsx2_cheats/blob/main/ddr_supernova2_jaa.pnach

Also does anybody tried using the pcsx2 internal recording? Its glitchy for some reason. The video is only a split second long but the length is days (i.e a six second video is indicated as 49 hours). The wav file records fine though

This is how I have it configured

Sin título.png

you need to remove the instruction lines and have no spaces between them. also you need to use TWO forward slashes.

here is my python2.ini for example, you can use this if you want. just make sure to change file paths to where your game is stored

[GameEntry DanceDanceRevolution_SuperNOVA]
Name=DanceDanceRevolution_SuperNOVA
HddImagePath=D:\\Python2\\ddr.raw
InputType=2
DipSwitch=0000
Force31kHz=1
DongleBlackPath=D:\\Python2\\ddr_dongle_black.bin
DongleWhitePath=D:\\Python2\\ddr_dongle_white.bin
HddIdPath=D:\\Python2\\HDD_ID.BIN
IlinkIdPath=D:\\Python2\\ILINK_ID.BIN

you just need to only add the patch file command to your python 2 ini and point it to where your pnach file is stored. and also make sure to remove the two forward slashes in front of "patchextended" in the code file if you want to activate a specific code.

example

PatchFile=D:\\Python2\\ddr.pnach

change "//patchExtended=1" to "patchExtended=1"

enable ethernet on network and usb settings set ethernet device type to sockets and ethernet device to auto and leave it.

Make sure you have port 1 set as python 2 on usb settings

also make sure you have the magic gate keys and the correct bios all in your bios folder.

magicgate keys on archive.org

https://archive.org/details/Magicgate

ps2 bios make sure to find ps2-0190j-20030822.bin

 Kaido Racer 2 is an exclusive to ps2 https://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Playstation_2_ISOs/Kaido_Racer_2_(Europe)_(En,Fr,De)/153618

I think it does a better job than many arcade drift games actually, even though its not an arcade game and you know it.1601076837-418330740.jpg

It's not " This does not and will never support Python 1 (entirely separate from Python 2) or System 246/256 games as those would require much more work than a simple USB device to make work. The MG code being used in this fork also does not support memory card MG encryption stuff properly (the memory card dongles used for Python 1 and System 246/256) so those platforms aren't really any closer to working compared to before."  Home · 987123879113/pcsx2 Wiki · GitHub also try reading the wiki if issues come up they are likely fixed following the wiki

try this, open pcsx2_vm.ini in the inis folder scroll down to DEV9/Hdd section and check to make sure that the hddfile and hddIDfile paths are correct. if not correct them, then restart pcsx2 then try booting again.

did you try this at least? and make sure the ini file is not in read only mode

Hi there folks. Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I’m really happy it finally works. I actually really love pcsx2. That’s the only way I can play my favorite games that remind me so much of my childhood. Btw, we talked about this with my friend from https://zumroad.com/game. He’s a real fan of ps and ps2 games, and he knows literally everything about them. So, this emulator is the best thing we’ve discovered recently. So, let’s keep the topic updated on your favorite ps2 games. Waiting for your replies
