enable ethernet on network and usb settings set ethernet device type to sockets and ethernet device to auto and leave it. 

Make sure you have port 1 set as python 2 on usb settings

also make sure you have the magic gate keys and the correct bios all in your bios folder.

you do not have to use btools. you can just use raw input and bind your inputs through there.

It's not " This does not and will never support Python 1 (entirely separate from Python 2) or System 246/256 games as those would require much more work than a simple USB device to make work. try this, open pcsx2_vm.ini in the inis folder scroll down to DEV9/Hdd section and check to make sure that the hddfile and hddIDfile paths are correct. if not correct them, then restart pcsx2 then try booting again.

did you try this at least? and make sure the ini file is not in read only mode

this is awesome both ddr's are working great i gotta try some of the other titles. 

getting a black screen on Thrill Driver 3 it shows me the splash screen of the midnight game and then goes blank.

So i know someone uploaded the SuperNOVA 1 dump to Google Drive.

 

Has anyone done the same with SuperNOVA 2? The easyupload link is quite obviously dead as it had a 15 day expiration date and we're way past it.

And i like having these files on hand whenever i like challenging myself into getting these arcade dumps up and running in an emulator.

any by chance you are using the latest version of the pcsx2 nightly build? Because apparently it doesn't work on the latest version. From what I saw on the log, the dongle files are considered BAD for whatever reason and since the dongle files are needed the game will give security id error

No. The PS2 time crisis 2 & 3 are excellent though. It's time crisis 4 on ps3 emulator that sucks because you cannot disable the crosshair. This ruins any light gun game as you're no longer aiming and shooting but instead just moving a mouse pointer around.

At this point, I think this fork is dead, With the latest release of MAME all these games are now playable. Just as with any rhythm game on MAME, they are listed as non-working due to sync issues that aren't 100% perfect, but they are playable.
