I got the 2014 Chinese version from the russian servers here and it works perfectly.  However there are many songs not available on it.  I managed to get a copy of the 2016 version, but it does not contain the launch folder at all.  How do I make it work?

Hallo.  So I managed to get 2 copies of the 2016 version.  First one has all songs but only Light, Standard and Extreme difficulties.  The second one has Master and Stealth difficulties.  I didn't do anything except download the games and they both launched by using Spicetools.  I'll try to get the links to share if it's allowed here.  Edit: Added a link, I hope it works.

sorry for the corrupt i mention..... redownloaded it and its ok now using 7z.... anyone wants to make a video on turorial how to workthis this... im stuck it 

 

4/configure the boot file - Edit the “KDM-001\launch\boot_factory.bat” file

Modify : - set PRJ_DIR=d:\KDM-001

=> modify to the folder where the files are located ; eg : “d:\games\dance evolution\” or anything you want - set DAMAC_VIEWER_FULLSCREEN=1

=> modify to “:: set DAMAC_VIEWER_FULLSCREEN=1” to

launch the game in windowed mode ; if you want the fullscreen mode, don’t modify anything on these line.

eh? I'm pretty sure the launch folder isn't in the download I linked o.0.  

 

Anyway, you must not use the pdf for previous version, that's only for 2014 version, the chinese one.  DO NOT copy the crack into your game either.  

 

For this 2016 version, download Spicetools right here on emuline.  Extract it.  Open the Spicetools folder and copy everything from it and paste it in CONTENTS folder.  Launch using Spice. 

 

Configure spice with the spicecfg and bind your hotkeys.

 

There is absolutely no modification to be done in the game files.  Spicetools becomes your launcher and that's it.  Launch your game and dance the night away :D

This one works great for me. No patches or anything, just put spicetools in with some config, start the local server and go. Now on to mastering Din Don Dan. Thanks!

I don't really know much about the errors, since I didn't get any when I downloaded and launched the game.  Zherokudo, please don't use any instructions from the PDF if you want to play the 2016 version.  As I said, there is no launcher in 2016 version, because you use Spicetools and it works as a launcher for the game.

 

Vinchie, is your Kinect connected properly? And running with Kinect Studio?

No errors? Not even the e-amusement one? or did you launch eaLocalServer first?

I did exactly as you say, binding only test, start etc. buttons to the "1, 2 ,3" etc. buttons below the "f1, f2" etc buttons.
I get this screen and nothing happens:

 

 

I tried to press test or service button I binded few seconds earlier in cfg, but nothing happens

at the spice.exe log I see this:

 

 

I binded the buttons "1" for test and "2" for service, but as soon as I press one of them, log says W:pkglist: unknown: no list.

 

(I didn't plug kinect yet, but I don't think that's the problem)

 

If i double click eaLocalServer and start it, and after that I launch, I get this screen and no button works.

 

 

I tried F3, space button etc, as suggested in the middle part of that screen, nothing happens. I tried the buttons I binded before, nothing happens.

If you can't see graphics, just text, install DirectX SDK.

I just got my kinect plugged into my PC, when I start Kinect Studio, this is what I get:

 

 

What should I do here?

p.s. Kinect (xbox 360 version)gets continuously disconnected and reconnected, can someone help, please? I'm desperate ;(
Edit: ok I used an external USB 3.0 hub (external alimentation) and the kinect is not disconnecting and reconnecting anymore. But Kinect Studio doesn't recognize it it seems

Ok guys I finally did it! Disconnection problem was caused by the insufficient power of my USB 3.0, so I used an external USB 3.0 hub (with USB 3.0 ports) a that solved it! the kinect doesn't disconnect anymore. Kinect studio doesn't recognize it, but spicetools launch the game and I get no errors.

The game now starts and I'm happy, I can browse songs etc.

sadly my actual room is very small and dark, so I wasn't able to perform an accurate accuracy test, (I had some problems browsing the songs, but I think it's my room's size and light problem). I was still able to try a song and get a few perfect anyway.
Now I will try to help new comers if I can, as you all helped me, I'm so grateful :D

i installed KinectSDK-v1.5.2-Setup and KinectDeveloperToolkit-v1.5.2-Setup.
my kinect is stable.
kinect studio is required to be open i think.
I already made a .bat file that starts up kinect studio, then the game.
