jcstahl1 Posté(e) le 30 juin Posté(e) le 30 juin (modifié) Custom DuckStation-based Windows (only tested in Win10) build for The Simpsons Bowling. This is a stripped-down, game-specific DuckStation build made only for Simpsons Bowling. It is not intended to be a full replacement for standard DuckStation. The build is preconfigured for this game and includes the required game files & bios. ** Note1: I accidentally included two folder for bezels. the "bezels" folder can safely be deleted. *** Note2: There is now a second link for an updated exe file that improves trackball/mouse response. overwrite the exe in the full zip with the new exe. Features / changes: Boots directly into Simpsons Bowling with included .bat file Preconfigured game folder layout Native bezel overlay support Fixed arcade-style inputs for coin, start, service, and test controls Trackball / mouse support for bowling input Simplified setup compared to normal DuckStation Default controls: Set controls in the GUI under controller settings: Port 1 - Analog Controller (DualShock) - Button Bindings Controls used: Trackball = Mouse Button 1 = Cross(X) Button 2 = Circle(O) Start = Start Coin 1 = Select Coin 2 = L2 Service = L3 Test = R3 Download link: Spoiler https://pixeldrain.com/d/FuSDkse2 update exe that improves trackball/mouse https://pixeldrain.com/d/mKd5Yvfq Modifié jeudi à 04:17 par jcstahl1 update 12

jcstahl1 Posté(e) le 30 juin Auteur Posté(e) le 30 juin (modifié) I'm actually already researching if I can use duckstation for all PS1 arcade boards. starting with Konami 573 first since in theory it should somewhat similar to Simpsons Bowling Modifié le 30 juin par jcstahl1 3
lords Posté(e) le 30 juin Posté(e) le 30 juin Works pretty good with the trackball. dumped the bezel and when for 2560X1440. Pretty cool game. ty.

But it's understandable. 1

Team 7zxkv Posté(e) mercredi à 21:39 Team Posté(e) mercredi à 21:39 M2 is not Playstation based (except for SPU). 1
MFT_Man Posté(e) mercredi à 22:34 Posté(e) mercredi à 22:34 The M2 was supposed to be based on the cancelled successor to the 3DO. 1
TekNoLogic2020 Posté(e) vendredi à 14:21 Posté(e) vendredi à 14:21 Thanks so much for this! I've been waiting forever to hear the voices. I'm on Windows 7 playing with a trackball and it works perfectly. The test menu crashes sometimes but settings can still be saved.
Nodoyuna Posté(e) samedi à 11:36 Posté(e) samedi à 11:36 (modifié) Game works great! I hope more will be coming in the future! Thanks Is it possible to use the -nogui option in the bat launcher? I'd like to use it, but if I add it, the game will not load Any idea about this? Also, is it possible to see the "normal" loading of the game? I mean, the initial rom check and all that? These are only minor things, I know, but I'd like to have the game as accurate as possible Thanks in advance Modifié samedi à 22:03 par Nodoyuna

These are only minor things, I know, but I'd like to have the game as accurate as possible Thanks in advance I'll look into the no GUI option again soon. it was giving me some issues initially so I skipped it. as for the BIOS loading & eeprom check, yes I've solved that but since I'm building duckstation version with the goal of all PS1 based arcade hardware being supported, using only mame roms with nothing else special needed, I didn't want to update this version. Also I don't know which mod changed the title but, this title should be corrected because “Konami GV” and “Baby Phoenix” are not separate systems that Simpsons Bowling is merely “similar to.” MAME documents the platform as “Konami GV System (aka ‘Baby Phoenix’) - Arcade PSX Hardware,” and The Simpsons Bowling is listed as a Konami GV game running on the GV999 motherboard. A more accurate wording would be: “Konami GV / Baby Phoenix PSX-based arcade hardware”. The current wording makes it sound like the build is for some unrelated PSX-based arcade hardware that resembles Konami GV, when it is in fact specifically Konami GV / Baby Phoenix hardware. 3
Nodoyuna Posté(e) hier à 06:07 Posté(e) hier à 06:07 Cool to know your "plans" Thanks a lot for the info I don't know how accurate it is, but in system16.com, the game is listed as "Konami Unique Hardware" It will be great to have a Duckstation fork for PS1 based arcades
eljose Posté(e) hier à 09:45 Posté(e) hier à 09:45 can i use CHEATS with the emulator , as in MAME ? to launch the special balls
