Duckstation for The Simpsons Bowling (PSX Based, Similar to Konami GV & Baby Phoenix)

Custom DuckStation-based Windows (only tested in Win10) build for The Simpsons Bowling.

This is a stripped-down, game-specific DuckStation build made only for Simpsons Bowling. It is not intended to be a full replacement for standard DuckStation.

The build is preconfigured for this game and includes the required game files & bios.

 

** I accidentally included two folder for bezels.  the "bezels" folder can safely be deleted.

 

Features / changes:

• Boots directly into Simpsons Bowling with included .bat file

• Preconfigured game folder layout

• Native bezel overlay support

• Fixed arcade-style inputs for coin, start, service, and test controls

• Trackball / mouse support for bowling input

• Simplified setup compared to normal DuckStation

Default controls:

 

Set controls in the GUI under controller settings:

Port 1 - Analog Controller (DualShock) - Button Bindings

Controls used:

• Trackball = Mouse
• Button 1 = Cross(X) 
• Button 2 = Circle(O)
• Start = Start
• Coin 1 = Select
• Coin 2 = L2
• Service = L3
• Test = R3

Maybe someone will do a duck station fork to support all Playstation based arcade

 

I know they run in name but they need some work to be perfect

I'm actually already researching if I can use duckstation for all PS1 arcade boards.  starting with Konami 573 first since in theory it should somewhat similar to Simpsons Bowling

Works pretty good with the trackball. dumped the bezel and when for 2560X1440. Pretty cool game. ty.

Anywho. easy to get strikes in this game.
