I need to check if is possible to see the icons when game is paused, there is no option at this time, planning to add gap adjustment settings between icons.

No, it was not. Neither was the treasure icons on the screen. Neither the HD AI upscale video. These are called "nice to have"

Oh, I didn't realize you were paying Max to fulfill a "spec sheet" of requests for you.

I was not demanding anything, never did, never will. I always congratulated Max for his work. Not sure what you are trying to stir up here. If you don't got nothing good to say or to contribute, please ignore me and don't @ me at all.

Really great work. I finally had the time to install it and play it on my setup and it is definitely the best version of all the recent cleaned-up version I have seen. Really good work.

I love the low-res option to make the high-scores feel more original and fitting better with the content sharpness. Thanks for that

 

My only beef was with the attract mode showing the controllers and others, so would be nice to have options to disable some screens but not a priority. I am fine, I edited the scripts myself and I am good for now.

 

Thanks again for the great work. Will go try the new beta 4 of dragon's lair 2 now, the first one was missing a script or something when I last tried.

New on this version:

 

- Updated Structure/Framework ( Issues with resetting scores or game to default thought game menu )

- New "Top Players" look.

I'm confused on 4:3 versus 16x9 only.....I play on a 4:3 cabinet usually...it looks like all these newer versions are for widescreen setups only?

The problem with all the 16:9 versions is that they cut off the top and bottom of the screen to fit it into 16:9.     The Dragon's Lair Maximi1ium V2.0 Remix (2024) 4:3 version was posted here, but files apparently no longer available for download.

You guys make me laugh. If he had "hand" corrected and cleaned only 4:3 video frames "individually", he would have had a bunch of users asking why is there no 16:9 version for their funky new monitors.

 

He hand corrected frames, I'll say that again: He hand corrected frames in his own time. HE made the decision to go with 16:9 and dedicated his time to fixing up that version.

Then shared his hard work for you guys.

 

If you want 4:3 so bad, then I keenly await YOUR hand cleaned and corrected 4:3 versions so we can all, share delight, and pick them to pieces for not working on our systems. Let's start the clock....

 

Max, keep doing what you are doing - most of us appreciate you.

CharlieChan, no one was asking for a new 4:3 version.  Just pointing out there was already a great 4:3 version already by our hero Max0011.    In fact, I think the 16:9 version was partially based on the 4:3 version after cropping.    Tip search discord for "Special Edition 4:3 resolution games for Hypseus Singe:".    Looks like there are even newer verisons than remix 2.0, that are called SE (Special Edition).
