Just only curious to ask, is this actual latest update for the english version?

 

EDIT: Also, isn't JConfig supposed to be dead or something? especailly, as 1cc isn't a thing anymore.

JConfig isn't dead i still use it for 1.00, 1.05, 1.10 and 1.18.16.

I actually meant in the way of developing new tools/apps to play games or have they gone underground? As I am interested to still follow what’s going on.

Yes this is the current/final revision of the US game.  Neither jconfig or 1CC are dead.  1cc is still active and jconfig just recently pushed out a loader for Cooper's 9.

Just for clarification, how exactly does this work for those that are curious (other than just what's in the Readme of course) and what changes/additions have you actually made? I don't know if it's worth either getting in touch with Harm (whether they're still active on here?) or add an actual PR on the related github for the English patch and potentially combine your projects together?

 

Also, if you ever make another actual update to this... Please could you kindly try to attempt to sync up both of the announcers at the end, when they actually say the actual title of the game if it is possible? Kind of sort like a duet, in a way.

This replaces the japanese announcer and pac-man's japanese voice clips. They go into the Bank folder in the Sound folder. This mod is not affiliated with the English Translation mod on GitHub. The mod for right know only works in single player. As i'm trying to figure out how to make it work on LAN Multiplayer and Online Multiplayer. I can't make the announcers sync because in the usa version of the game National Battle and the banapass port was removed so they're aren't any english announcer voice clips for it. And not to mention some of the japanese announcers voice clips are shortened and i can't fix that.

Funny you should actually say that, me and my friend were trying to figure that out as well and there's probably no actual way without intervention from TeknoParrot which requires a subscription.

 

I meant the literal last part when they rrespectively do the game title call, if it's possible. Similar to some games like Resident Evil and in particular Mario Kart 64, Wii, 8 & Deluxe. Though it's like mixed together similar to a duet, as how else was the attraction mode voice auido track done?

Someone else did the attract mode voice not me. I only did the base files.

Great News. Rev 1.06.35/OF is now added to Teknoparrot for subscribers only. Hopefully it won't be in the subscription forever. And I'm still looking forward to the JConfig Version.

Not just here, everywhere.  A huge portion of what was made with Gamebase is just gone.  Between garbage Mega and sendspace nonsense.

Le site n’est pas mort, il est juste débarrassé de pas mal de contenu inutile et des demandes incessantes de dumps, alors que ce n’a jamais été sa vocation à la base. Plutôt que de regretter, autant contribuer — certains le font régulièrement, et ça apporte vraiment quelque chose. Rien n’empêche de faire pareil. 

edit: une des autres raisons c'est par exemple: en 1h 10 téléchargement se tpas un seul merci. Voila pourquoi on a pas tjrs envie d'en faire plus gratuitement hein

 

The site isn’t dead — it’s just cleared of a lot of useless content and constant dump requests, which were never its original purpose anyway. Instead of just lamenting, people could contribute like some do (often the same ones), and that really adds value. Nothing’s stopping anyone from doing the same.

          edit: One of the other reasons, for example: in 1 hour, 10 downloads and not a single thank you. That’s why we don’t always feel like doing more for free, you know?

I have no issues with this site.  Just the sharing sites.  I know, for me, I always say THANK YOU!  So many thanks for this!  Eggman just updated his DAT with this release so a torrent will be along soon.  I seed those permanently.  From now on this release should be obtainable in those torrents.  Hopefully that makes it more permanent.

Hello everyone, how to play the new courses? I don't see them on the GP selection. Thx.

Few tips:

 

Had to disable nam cam and steering check to get it to boot.

Playing with a wheel and pedals but when in the race the acceleration dies after 10 seconds or so. I tried disabling auto acceleration as well but no luck yet in actually being able to use the gas.

Hoping for an input update TP side.

FFB works though from the few minutes I played it but the Japanese version is superior for better FFB and the ability to choose items and karts.

Pac-Man Stadium and Namco Circuit are only playable in multiplayer.

hint : enable Sto0z Zone in TPui (range 20-30)

Ok figured some things out.

The brake in this game is simply a button and not an axis. In the test menu you'll see it it simply on or off whereas the steering and gas can have analog values.

This again gives the Japanese version another point.

They do and those are dead too.  I came across 7 dead shares.  Plus there's the torrent I already mentioned that this is now apart of.

now added in tecknoparrot. To play just turn off camera in test menu. then use item button and mario button to get to your game.
