Hello guys,

I'm getting mad trying to run KOF Maximum Impact Regulation A, I tried on teknoparrot but I always have black screen after the Snk logo. And also with TP it doesn't have the possibility to improve the internal resolution.

Is it possible to run it with Jconfig? cause I have the same issue of the black screen there . And also improve the internal resolution? or with Game Loader All ?

I think it's because of the game's intro video that it's buggy
I abandoned the arcade version for the PS2 version, which is simpler

Win8.1, 10, and 11 don't work properly

Try going to file miracard.ini and change

 

[VIDEO SETTINGS]
VIDEO_CARD = AMD

 

even if you have Nvidia card.  this is thing that finally fixed it for me.

There is a registry trick to fix it. See this post 

 

Create a kofmira.reg file with the following content and replace D:\\xxx\\game.exe by the path to your game.exe on your system.

 

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Direct3D\Shims\EnableOverlays]
"D:\\xxx\\game.exe"=dword:00000001

 

Then double click this .reg file and accept to make sure it is entered in the registry.

Thank you so much guys I managed to, I changed the kofmira.reg file, the video settings from nvidia to amd, and simply run the game with jvs_loader.exe. The intro video doesn't work but I just press the coin button to go on.

Do you think there is a possibility to improve the internal resolution? maybe with game loader all rh?

Internal resolution as high as you want with dgvoodoo2

I told you it would be easier with a Playstation 2 emulator and the game iso, 
it is identical with a better menu, you just lose the "insert coin" =)

If you change your PC, you have to repeat the whole procedure. :s

miracard.ini should be at the root of the game

I do not have miracard.ini in my root folder and GamerLine's attachment isn't downloading for me.

I downloaded the game from your link and I don't know if I am blind or something because I am not seeing miracard.ini the root of the game directory.

extract it to the root of the game 
and launch it with jvsloader after configuring the miracard and also configuring your keys with jconfig
