1. yes, the rpcs3 dev made a change not a long ago to lightgun/mouse and its a mess ... what you need to do is this: after you make the ps move setting, in calibration screen you need to press CTrL+F11, then you can move and press the mouse to calibrate. after you ingame, you need to press CTRAL+F11 again to let the keyboard take control and move in the manu. once you start the game, push ctrl + f11 again to make it work with mouse/gun.

this all thing is just a mess, i prefer just use the old rpcs3 version that work well with the sinden instruction. look for a march 2023 version to download in rpcs3 site.

also you can just use the new guncon 3 setting, but i find the crossair slower for some reason than the ps move.

 

2. they also change the "Save.state" file to something else and i didnt find a way to save and load after calibration with this new save file format. maybe someone else will have a better luck.

Thanks for the heads up...I tried a few times but just couldn't get it....frustrating!!!  I'll just stick with the older fork of RPCS3 for now...

Hello everyone! I recently dusted off my Sinden Lightguns and decided to check out how RPCS3 has progressed. What a surprise when I saw that it has "raw mouse" and that two players can play! Until I tried it... I decided to try HOTD Overkill, and then I realized that it doesn't work at all... Not even with just one Sinden connected. But I tried it with the mouse and it doesn't work either! I programmed a Sinden in joystick mode and I'm not sure what to do now. Do you have any recommended versions? I'd like to be able to play with two players. Thanks a lot!

Last I checked they never made HOTD Overkill work with gun. I never could get past the calibration screen. There's a PC version called Typing of the Dead Overkill but IDK if it has two players, if not you'd have to settle for the Wii/Dolphin version which is the worst graphically. 

 

According to Google, Typing of the Dead Overkill only has an online 2 player mode, but not an offline 2p.

Thanks for your answer. SInden works as mouse/raw mouse. The cursor is OK but the buttons are not responsive (gun nor normal mouse). In older versions od RPCS3 the gun works, but I get stuck on a three silouethes screen. I got the Steam ver. and can confirm that hasn't 2 player mode. And the Wii version... Yes, is the worst graphically.
