Play! 0.71-1.3

This release consolidates all changes made into a single branch and should not interfere with the functionality of any (playable) game.

Game saves and .backupram configurations are located in your Play! folder \Local\Documents\Play Data Files\arcadesaves.

Hint :

When you have any issue with the controls, coins, or general game configurations, the first thing to do is delete the .backupram of the game you are using and relaunch it.

To take advantage of some fixes and enhancements configure the video settings in OpenGL : 1x (480) Fit with Screen Gs Force Bilinear enabled.

Configure in Settings the Arcade Roms Directory and play.

I understand that you are french and this board is french also, but if you write to me in french it's like arabic to me, but since I have a neuron that works for all the others that are now almost dead, I think I understand that your problem can be solved by simply going into TEST mode and starting the game in FREE PLAY

After a lot of testing, I've configured keys for BG3 and BG3T :), if it can be of help to someone, go to Test Mode (R3+L3) for me by default keys 0+3, then in configuration for accelerate and breaking pedal, for me by default these were keys T and L, once you configure them, you can change them in keyboard remap or use joytokey. Remember to change in test mode to free mode.

Just a couple of points in more tests, in BG3 and BG3T I have made tests with Vulkan, OpenGL, increase and decrease resolution, activating and deactivating bilinear but always I detect a flicker in screen during gameplay. I suppose that will be an issue in mi setup.
Last test is related with Animal Kaiser and Animal Kaiser Evo, in both , when I get "No IC Card" booting the game I can't access to test mode. In spite of pressing L1 (Key 1) I can't access as I do in Pacman BR an another games. Does someone know how to fix? I've tried pressing all keyboard buttons, virtual keyboard and a gamepad mapped but nothing happens :(. Thanks

For the recent Teknoparrot build both Battle Gear 3 & Tuned freezes just before the countdown starts. It works fine in the standalone version Hippo provided, but not on the TP build or builds on the Play GitHub. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Edit: Derole fixed it. It was only an issue with beginner tracks

Any idea when these will be dropped into TP?

The Battle Gear 3/Battle Gear Tuned fixes? It was already added to Teknoparrot last night. Also, if you haven't updated since this morning EDT they fixed some of the freezing in the beginner tracks.

I highly recommend using ReShade with Fubaxiusz's shaders to eliminate flickering and interlacing issues.

Hi, I've configured reshade for Play! by teknoparrot, to apply bezel and for interlacing by fubaxsiuz. My question is, when you start the game, does the reshade popup appear? Has anyone disabled it? Because once I have it configured, I don't want it to appear again, if possible. If you have it disabled, I would appreciate it if you could send me the opengl32.dll file or what I would have to do to disable it. Best regards, and thank you very much.

Hello guys may I ask you at what point the emulation of the systems is? Do you  still need a i9 CPU to run the games properly? Or is it a i7 gen 10th fine? Are there any games in all the list that don’t work well? Is it better to run all of them with TP or normally through Play! last Ui? Thank you so much for the informations

The performance has improved, but you probably still need a CPU that has a clock speed of at least 5.3GHZ for most of the 3D games. The main issue is the GPU right now.
