guglielmo.di.luca PostĂ©(e) vendredi Ă 08:11 PostĂ©(e) vendredi Ă 08:11 Hi guys, I am the only one for whom changing resolution in Play! does nothing? Does not matter what I choose: 1x, 1920p, ecc, it's always native resolution for me. Someone else has encountered this behaviour? Â

hippopippo Posté(e) samedi à 13:01 Posté(e) samedi à 13:01 I want to spend my 2 cents about namco 2xx/1xx emulation : this has been causing trouble, annoyances and ruining the nights of developers and those who would like to play it without any problems for a while now ... but patiently for a few years now that the adventure began, we have been waiting without haste for every little improvement or fix that is not always released every breath ... this has been happening for years (and let's also add the configuration, conversion and adaptation of each individual rom) ... so now that all this has been integrated into the Parrot (in the simplest way, I believe, click&play) we cannot expect that every single problem discussed in recent years will be fixed in 24 hours by the TP team.  I hope I have made you understand my thoughts about not reading fix requests for this or that problem every single day. What has been developed in almost 3 years cannot be expected to be ready soon, immediately and working with everything less than a week after TP integration (and the same goes for Triforce and any porting of other emulators). 3
dyniel83 PostĂ©(e) samedi Ă 13:33 PostĂ©(e) samedi Ă 13:33 I think TP shot themselves in the foot by releasing both Triforce and Namco emulation at the same time. Their Discord is now flooded with: Simple questions about how to run games, set up configs, etc. Complaints like “Why isn’t game XXX working?”, “Why is it slow?”, or “Why is it glitching?”, and so on. Â

Just pick the directory, and assign inputs for the controls. I get that Play can be a bit more difficult because the games need to go into the Play data files folder which is in your documents folder, but other than that it’s easy.Â

This is a perfect response Hippo! As for the comment about shooting themselves in the foot and the discord being overwhelmed, how is it really any different than any other new game they add? Literally every time they add something, the discord gets flooded with "why don't my game work?" comments & complaints. Be happy they're trying to improve emulation for those two systems, since the real Dolphin devs want nothing to do with Tri-Force, and the Play dev seems more interested in making the console games work on mobile devices. So without TP doing what they're doing, we may have never seen any more improvements with those systems.

I noticed that doesn't upsample where as OpenGL does.
compnwl Posté(e) dimanche à 14:49 Posté(e) dimanche à 14:49 People wondering why Vulkan looks bad... its because the emulator is very preliminary and resolution scaling only works on OpenGL. But you need to set Vulkan for Sengoku Basara X and Capcom Fighting Jam, otherwise the colors will look wrong. This is not a problem when you use the Console version on PCSX2 anyway...  10 hours ago, Distance said: and how can it be made portable? Create a blank portable.txt inside Play! folder  1

Arcade party is just a compilation of old Namco arcade games without enhancements and Battle Royale shouldn’t require a powerful PC either. Either way, there’s going to be performance optimization, so I wouldn’t worry too much about system requirements.Â
GingerJazz Posté(e) dimanche à 22:05 Posté(e) dimanche à 22:05 I know it was posted by @hippopippo what shaders to use and where to get them, very grateful to find out that they can be used to improve display, but as some games use open gl and, the other's use vulcan api's; how do I set dolphin to use both when I install the shaders so that I can use either depending on the game being played? Thanks.

Here’s what I found 1) Time Crisis 3 & 4: Run great! 4 has some video issues, but is fully playable 2) Fate Unlimited Codes: Runs great, but there are some minor graphical issues on OpenGL 3) Bloody Roar 3: plays great. Missing music during battles 4) Tekken 5/5 DR: plays great 5) Capcom Fighting Jam: plays great, and the sprites look much closer to real hardware 6) Wangan Midnight/R: Runs great 7) Pride GP: Runs great eight) Sengoku: Runs great 9) Vampire Night: Runs great 10) Soul Calibur 3: Runs at 20FPS. Fix coming soonÂ
GingerJazz Posté(e) il y a 13 heures Posté(e) il y a 13 heures @atalec You can just put all the needed files an ordinary folder and a zip file of same name for each game into the folder you want to keep your games in, you don't have to worry about setting anything else up, your exe will be the zip file to set in UI of Teknoparrot, like in you would in Mame, then just setup your controls as usual as you would with other games. If you have used the standalone emulator before just forget all about everything you did with it and enjoy most games running at mostly full speed (obviously depends on PC) but it doesn't need a really fast one too fancy a graphics card but if you are needing any more help message me and I will be happy to help you get it set up, I don't want to clog the page up for other users so best not to fill up space with things other users already know how to do.
