Before opening the game: Right click the volume icon > Sounds > Click on the Default Device > Properties > Advanced > 2 channel, 16 bit, 44100 Hz Open spicecfg.exe, set your buttons, go to “Cards” then click “Generate”. To play the game and save scores: Open asphyxia-core-x86.exe then spice.exe Press + on the numpad to insert your card If your system has problems running the asphyxia x86 version, you can replace it with the x64 version. The following is the song unlocking information, I haven't seen the patch for 26 yet All of the remaining songs from the pop'n time trip (ポップンタイムトリップ) event, with the exceptions of zeeros and 真超深ＴＩＯＮ UPPER, were unlocked by default on December 24th, 2020. zeeros and 真超深ＴＩＯＮ UPPER were unlocked later on March 3rd, 2021. On March 11th, 2021, songs from the pop'n Tourist, pop'n hiden ninpouchou, pop'n Walker, and Waku-waku Mimi Nyami tankentai unlocks of the pop'n event archive (ポップンイベントアーカイブ) were unlocked by default. On April 28th, 2021, songs from the Soreyuke! pop'n quest, EXTRA, Waku-waku pop'n land, and Fever senshi pop'n 14 unlocks were unlocked by default. The setting of Spicefg is the same as when I was running Peace, and the card was available on Peace without any problems. I can only pass easier levels on a keyboard myself - usually use my EZMAX controller to play the Pop'n games which works pretty well. On NVidia, there is a way to set a max frame rate per game (*.exe file). This link explains how: https://www.howtogeek.com/509097/how-to-set-a-maximum-frame-rate-in-nvidias-drivers/ This only works for *.exe files though & doesn't seem to work for games that are launched by a *.dll via SpiceTools. For Pop'n Music 26, I tried adding the spice.exe file itself to NVidia configuration and set it to 60fps, but that seemed to have no effect on the game itself - the animations still ran fast unless I actually set my monitor refresh rate to 60Hz. This method did work for games like WMMT 6 and WMMT 5DX+ (which I run via TP) ; those games are actually started via *.exe files which you can add to NVidia configuration. younsome Posted September 30, 2021 Share Posted September 30, 2021 (edited) It runs Okay in my PC, but it runs like 2x and seems like its screen resolution is lower than it should be. Edit: I use a 144hz monitor. And this game does NOT support it. Having 144hz monitor for 60hz game may have something to do with my malfunction.
