Wondering if there's any way to fix this. I tried turning off the WASAPI Shared Mode, no dice.
I tried using audio mixer (Voicemeeter), but the sound lags and crackles.

uncheck the wasapi shared + 16bit 48000Hz dont work ??

test this in iidx28.conf (only with bemanitools ?)

wasapi=false

asio=true

download asio4all and set your asio buffer size to 64

and your sound to 16bits 96000Hz for very low audio latency (48000Hz if you can't 96000Hz)

I'm using Spicetools, but in that I found the option to set Audio Backend to ASIO
And it works! Never thought I would see the game running with internal speaker without crackling. Thanks!

It even fixes SDVX! If you're near me right now, I don't mind buying you a beer or 2. Thanks!

U guys can figure out the 07-12 debug on your own

Would love to find one for 07-12 debug, but not sure where to start. Any pointers?

easy actually
take the entire line, copy it, and use the search function in HxD
its should narrow down the results

I actually already tried that
No dice.

I even tried to replace all of the occurence of the line (32 C0 C3 CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC) with (B0 01 C3 CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC) and it still doesn't work.

iirc experiment a little bit with the end of the line as it changes from update to update
f.e. try to remove 1 of the CC values, do a search, if no luck: repeat

Is it just me, or is it that the keysound goes a bit fast starting from the middle up to the end of the song making it somewhat off-sync with the BGM?

Doesn't matter which audio device I used (realtek onbard audio, nvidia HD audio to my HDTV, ASIO from my Focusrite Scarlett), it's the same on all audio devices.

Maybe it's the refresh rate? If the game runs at 60Hz but the framerate runs higher AFAIK it can desync (kinda like the MAME IIDX games which does have this issue IIRC).

I finally got the problem solved. More like, I'm being stupid for not noticing it somehow. :P

I forgot to turn off frame limiter on the Rivatuner FPS monitoring app which is included with MSI Afterburner. I was testing a game that doesn't have 60FPS lock, so I tried enabling frame limiter to see if it works.

Now that I turned it off and run Bistrover again, the off-syncing stopped permanently. I can now finally play the game properly. ;)
