The granddaddy of ALG shooting games gets a 2 player release.

 

Many further enhancements to other 2 player games too. Including the shotgun in LBH....

Thanks so much for all of your help, I really appreciate it.  I've finally got my head around how it all works now.  This is probably not the place to ask but I'll try anyway lol  I'm using RetroBat as my frontend, do you know how to get the bat file to be recognised as a game to launch in the Daphne section of Retrobat?  That may be a different mission altogether   Thanks again

Hey, you don't appear to be using the latest Hypseus, but that should not cause this issue.

 

Are you certain that you only have files from the latest maddog game release?

 

Can you start by deleting the maddog.cfg file and allowing the game to create a fresh config.

@nosoucy62 - The -oversize_overlay argument is obsolete now. It won't work on recent versions of Hypseus.

It looks like something slipped into the 2p maddog-hd game that requires v2.11.3 - I see you are not running that version, so updating to the latest release should fix it.

 

But also check that maddog.cfg file and delete it so a fresh one is recreated.

So regarding the 2 player mods, my PC lightgun setup is 2 separate sensor bars and two wii motes/guns) so when i attempt to press start on the 2nd controller it registers the start button on the first one instead....thus beginning a single player only game.  Not sure how to get the 2nd Wii Mote to work with the game

This version "cleans up" some of the frustrating and "broken" parts on the original arcade version.

Hello, i am back from a long period.

Whaou you sure made a lot of improvements !!!

 

Years ago i posted here videos for a captain power project, it was a batch of episodes in mkv...(amateur moves when i see what you have done !)

So thank you for fullfilling my request in a sense !

 

I Had new ideas recently concerning Singe games so i share them with you !

 

I thought of various game ! i think it"s possible when i see what you can do

 

First idea:

 

Thunder in Paradise - CD-I/DOS (I dream to play at it with my light gun)

 

Second idea mostly digital picture games: maybe shooting through the camera icons to move the player from one spot to another...

 

Ground Zero Texas - Sega CD, PS4, Windows

Surgical Strike - Sega CD/32X

Maximum Surge - Sega Saturn, Window 95, 3do & Mac

Sewer Shark - Sega CD, 3do

I am unable to install : SEGA Video Driver for Hypseus Singe

I am on pi5 with Batocera V41

I was unable to install as well Captain Power from Hypseus Singe, but finally it was included in a Lightgun pack

So now Captain power is up and running

I noticed a difference in the folder from a version to another

It was the same with Action Max

I can't identify where it's going south with Sega...

I made several attempts

If you have an idea, Let me know
