How Do I Map A USB Handbrake For Sega Rally 3 - Only getting reversed axis input

Having a nightmare trying to get my usb handbrake working in Sega Rally 3, no matter what i try it only ever works in reverse i.e if im holding it on, in game the car can move and vice versa

With TP here it works as it should ( good ).

 

What you are using for running it?

its just a cheap stand alone USB handbrake, it comes up as suplimental slider 0 in TP

 

No matter what I try in the settings, the handbrake is always on (unless I pull the handbrake lever)

Also, noob question, what are you supposed to do with the mega links that have spaces in them? none seem to go through for me even without the spaces

I also can't use the handbrake in this game, I think the "invert axes" option for the handbrake is missing from the teknoparrot.

J'ai reçu ce jour mon frein à main USB et je rencontre le même problème que l'auteur de ce topic.

 

Mon frein à main est reconnu sous le terme "firstperson rotation +" ou firstperson rotation -" en fonction que j'active ou pas le frein à main.

Le problème est que quelque soit la position dans le controleur setup de TP, la voiture reste bloquée sur le frein à main!   :-(

 

Il faut donc que j'active le frein à main pour avancer! lol

Existe t'il une solution à ce problème SVP?

Car pour le moment, j'ai juste perdu 89€....   :-/

I received my USB handbrake today and I have the same problem as the author of this topic.

 

My handbrake is recognized under the term "firstperson rotation +" or firstperson rotation - "depending on whether or not I activate the handbrake.

The problem is that whatever the position in the TP controller setup, the car gets stuck on the handbrake! :-(

 

So I have to activate the handbrake to move forward! lol

Is there a solution to this problem please?

Because for the moment, I just lost 89 € ....: - /

what is the Joy2Key setting to reverse the axis?

try this:

 

in TK, go to the control assignment, activate your brake on/off ... do you see it go from [axis] +/- ?

If brake on = - and you release it says +

hold the brake on, then press save settings while holding the brake "on"

 

I discovered this technique before I found reverse axis for gas/brake

im usually on my ps4 controller square for normal break, X for gas , circle is my hand break.  yes yes so old school . lol  shoulder buttons for  boost and/or view i use the same for outrun 2 😎

told u im old school, yeah nah seriously got no room at th moment i woud have it setup in the lounge but im fuked! have it in 'office'  no choice at th mo  be like 2mettres only , spose i could still do that

fair play bud just messing  i fixxed a T300 to my desk and just unscrew the wheel itsellf for normal PC use and screw it on for drivings

you have a point . i have the pc for stuff im just doing it with controllers . yes my yt channel same name
