On latest spice2x, as long as you're on Nvidia GPU on a desktop, things should just work normally If you're on AMD GPU, or if you're on laptops, then use the Game FPS Target and Note FPS Target patches, and force FPS in spicecfg.

There are two methods of setting keys in spice, Bind button and Naive button. Try one or the other and see if it's better.
