  1. @Jingabe you should be able to reduce settings in the graphics control panel to get it running, disable v sync etc, not too sure how the settings work with AMD but if you experiment you might be able to improve it a bit, it is unlikely to be able to run at 60fps whatever you do, as it was never really intended to play games. For the resolution have a look in the files within the game dump there is most probably a setting somewhere for resolution, failing that try it windowed.

  2. @grangler you don't need to subscribe to play this game, but considering the work that must go into making most of these games playable the subscription is a bargain, it also pays for games and dongles to dump, if you don't want to subscribe fine but don't make out that its not good value please, its pretty disrespectful to the TP developers, who have brought all of us here, hours of fun.

Regarding Demul, I heard that there’s a working branch that plays Planet Harriers without crashing. Does anyone have that? Thank you.

It is a bit of a hit or a miss to be honest but the earlier versions of 0.7 or ever before that, tend to run it better for me on one of my PC's and Demul07a 180816 on another and then I update Nvidia drivers and both crash. Maybe someone has a better answer because its a great game but that was the result I get.

  4. @BarryWheresBarry I tried with an e2186G processor and it works okay, this is just a glorified i7 8700k really so it should work okay with an i7 8700 I would think, in-fact it does, I tried it on a tiny PC with an i7 8700 and only a quadro t400 graphics card, 2gb vram or something, the weakest of the weak and it still worked fine running on Windows 10 so your setup should run it easy power wise, of course it might come down to your video card drivers or something.

@Ijcstahl1 get this totally it could easily have been mirrored by someone, it can't be all take with no give with these things, people behaving like vultures, torrent is probably the best way to go assuming people share with others, which there is no excuse for not doing as it will be free to do, just my opinion anyway, for what its worth which is probably very little when its not me having to pay.

I'm trying to run Samurai Spirits Sen for NESiCAxLive using iDmacX v2.0

    1) I put the iDmacDrv32.dll (x86 version) in the game folder

    2) I run JConfig.exe (32 bit version) to configure the commands

    3) when I run game.exe the game starts but stops at a screen that says "I/O error"

    Am I missing some step?

I think and this is only from memory that there are some extra settings in Jconfig for NXL games in a kind of sub menu, also I believe you can use dx9 wrapper with it, IO error would suggest something to do with controls though obviously, there may be extra setting for them as well, its a good while since I run this game with jconfig, is there maybe a stand alone version for this game also?, I think for some reason it is a different dll file it needs for this game.

  7. @Arcadeguy781 I am at 47.3% it will download I think eventually don't mind seeding it for as long as it takes, the availability is the same as the percentage I have downloaded and my ratio is at 0.50, I have a 900mbs connection which should mean anybody who wants it will get it, I just want a romvault set as my current dumps are messy and duplicated over several PC's and many hard drives with no proper naming etc, so easier just to start again lol.

Last time I tried with success I clicked the unlock link, and then closed all the incoming tabs straight away. The mediafire links are obviously scam downloads, but keep trying to click the unlock link until the real download starts. It can be a bit of a pain sometimes!

Use Brave Browser for VM site and you do not have any of the issues with tabs and messing around just click then download

No, that's fine and all. It just seems kind of strange.  Why announce it if it's not available?  Shining Force: Cross Exlesia for instance.  It's been out on Teknoparrot forever.  I don't know anyone who has it or has seen it.  Does it exist?

In many years of being into arcade emus I can promise I have learned an important lesson, asking for unreleased dumps never speeds up their release if they are private and especially not in public chat.

  10. @compnwl apologies, I do take your point dude about it being an old post, I was just mentioning your post to clarify the point to people, who might be looking to buy new hardware that speed and processing power are not the same thing and you don't need a high end processor to run games at full speed because, you would be paying for features that you did not need for emulation, although this is changing over time in the likes of Mame which is usually able to use multiple threads at the same time as do a few others like Flycast Rcps3 etc but in the context you were talking, what you are saying was absolutely accurate and I did not intend to suggest otherwise, just to dispel the myth that more expensive is always faster for every use and that the law of diminishing returns is one that is still valid.
