Pink Panther - Brazilian Unity Game (Credit Mode Enabled)

A short while ago, a colleague sent me this game and mentioned that the credit system was not working, with only the Free Play version available.

I modified the Assembly-CSharp file and added support for a working credit system.

The game appears to be approximately 90% functional. The only major issue I found is that there is no proper stage exit when reaching the first floor/level.

It seems to be based on a Chinese source code project that was used as a foundation for the game. Since I do not have access to the original source code, I cannot improve it beyond its current state.

For anyone curious about this title, I am making it available to the community.

Important Information

Keyboard Controls

  • 5 (top row) – Insert Credit

  • 1 (top row) – Start Game

  • Arrow Keys – Move Character

  • 2 (top row) – Switch to Free Play Mode

  • 3 (top row) – Switch to Coin/Credit Mode

  • M – Open Configuration Menu

Configuration Menu

The configuration menu allows you to:

  • Change game difficulty

  • Modify some input settings

  • Adjust startup control options

Please note that many of the menu options are either incomplete or non-functional.

Recommended Setup

I recommend using:

  • iRotate to play the game in vertical orientation.

  • JoyToKey for arcade control mapping.

For convenience, you can create a .BAT or AutoHotkey (.AHK) script to automate the launch process.

The following command starts the game in fullscreen mode (some screens may not scale perfectly):

@echo off
cd /d ".\PC-2"
start "" "build PC.exe" -screen-width 1080 -screen-height 1920 -screen-fullscreen 1
exit

no rapport with this ?

The gameplay, character movement, and overall mechanics are virtually identical.

The only noticeable differences are a few minor visual details, such as the guards' appearance. Aside from that, I haven't found any meaningful differences between the two versions.

I'm not entirely sure if that's what you were asking.

Pink Panther - Brazilian Unity Game (Credit Mode Enabled)

Basically, this game was dumped about 7 years ago from an Iranian arcade company called ManikK. The person who dumped it was SpiderzSoft, who later shared the game with a Brazilian guy known as Coding (a.k.a. Jhony).

This guy is from Brazil and honestly wasn't very trustworthy. He had a reputation for deceiving even his own Brazilian friends, lol.

Good afternoon colleagues! Our Brazilian friend doesn't deceive us! Quite the contrary, he contributes a lot to the development and learning of a large part of the people here. Now, some unscrupulous individuals use the modifications he makes to deceive and profit dishonestly. Foreigners have the audacity to charge absurd prices for modifications that aren't even worth a third of the modifications that coding does. So before judging the guy and his character, try to get to know him.

I don't know him personally, and honestly, that's not relevant to me.

My only intention here is to contribute to the site. As far as I'm concerned, that's something that should be sorted out between the people involved.

I have no knowledge of, or information about, the claims mentioned above.

By the way, are you Brazilian?

Yes, my friend, I'm Brazilian. I only said that because the person above said that the guy was deceiving Brazilians. And it's quite the opposite.

But... anyway! Your post is very good and contributes a lot to learning. Congratulations! And thank you for sharing!!

When you share something with another person in a spirit of friendship, trust, and mutual understanding, and that person subsequently distributes or sells it without your knowledge or permission, despite the understanding under which it was originally shared, it is difficult to describe such conduct as anything other than a breach of trust.

spider soft itself informed me that this game's source code was shared with an individual named Coding in good faith and on the basis of friendship. However, according to the information I received, the game was later sold without prior consent or notification. Furthermore, there was a subsequent denial that the material had ever been shared in the first place. Such actions raise serious concerns regarding honesty, accountability, and respect for one's word.

spidersoft also stated that this same Brazilian individual had allegedly engaged in similar conduct with two or three other friends from Brazil, involving questionable dealings and a failure to honor commitments that had been made.

In any case, at the request of a friend of mine, I will leave the matter here and consider it closed. Unfortunately, we live in a time when what is right is not always acknowledged as right, and what is wrong is not always recognized as wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own perspective and judgment.

I sincerely hope that you continue sharing and preserving games in the same spirit of enthusiasm and community that has always made this hobby worthwhile.

Great Job Caos Gamer. pay no attention to the  worthless comments in this section.

This site is not for that kind of Neg  BS. After all, Who cares.

A game is a game and is  put here for future play or mods. No other reason. Just preserving games and not the Soap Opera. lol
