Post edit: For those who have the arcade cabinet, here is the full restore software made for the game. This will only work with the 4 player cabinet.

 

Instructions: Extract the zip file somewhere on your pc. Then, place the extracted folders into a usb drive. After that, follow the instructions in your Wicked Tuna 4 player manual to restore the game to your machine. This will overwrite your hard drive so be careful installing unless you know what you're doing.

If you refer to launch the game just click and run in administrator mode.. 

 

now if you refer to play the game.. well i think you must wait cuz seem the buttons are not mapped.. also i get I/o error lol

Here is the plugin that makes Wicked Tuna playable! Install Bepinex x64 like normal since this is Unity based. Read the readme txt file for more installation instructions and controls. This supports keyboard and Xbox controllers. The plugin will also be posted on the Emuline discord for more access. Enjoy playing Wicked Tuna!

I use one with raphnet dreamcast adapter for Sega bass fishing and Sega marine fishing. Did a quick test on this game and should be possible. The Dreamcast rod with raphnet can detect motion, but not the specific direction, so I'll use its analog stick for rod movement. So, to keep it analog, I'll probably use something like wheel2xinput to convert the dinput device to xinput. Will still need a separate program to convert the reel (seen as an axis) to repeated button taps. I tested an ahk script that pressed left alt every 400ms, 300ms, 200ms, and 100ms, for when I was reeling at 5-25, 26-50, 51-75, and 76-100 percent speed, respectively. Seemed like it should work ok, but will need to test more later

I copied the BepinEx folder to game directory and did everything according to the Readme file, yet no config folder, nor file was ever created after exiting the game the 1st time. Can someone please post the config file, and/or the Bepinex with config already in place? thanks in advance!

then you didn't install BepInEx correctly.  you can't just copy the BepInEx folder from another game.  you need to extract the entire x64 BepInEx package from their GitHub into the game folder.  follow the readme included with the plugin.

I extracted the BepinEx provided by "Random Aceess Gamer" (not just a random from another game) and it was missing the core folder and other doorstrap files etc etc. But nvm, I got it working now with latest 64bit from github.

the plugin did not include BepInEx at all.  the readme literally says you need to install it.  I should know.  I wrote it.

I was able to test the tournament mode with several people, which works well with a game lasting 10 minutes. This game is really excellent.

You can launch in 2-player mode to make it a bit less crowded and bigger if you don't plan on playing with 4 players. 

 

Open Logs\Data.dat with notepad and change the 0 to 1 here:

You'd have to use a program like anitmicrox to change the buttons with xinput.  not sure if that would effect the rumble though.

 I tested to change the buttons with xinput using antimicrox.  it works really well with rumble.  thanks!
