After a long time, tatsunoko vs capcom has now been dumped and playable for the public to enjoy!!! Thanks to crediar for all their hard work on getting this dumped and playable!!!!!

To launch the game, boot dolphin, go to tools, and click "Launch Wii Menu" and enjoy!

you can start it from cmd if you don't want to go into the UI every time to play, or need to use in your frontend.  .\path\to\your\Dolphin.exe -b -n 0000000100000002

UNLOCK HIDDEN CHARACTERS

1- Open 'Test Menu'

2- Goto 'Game Configuration'

3- Press A key on 'Password'

4- Enter 'KUHMFRSW' as password (after entering password, Level 4 will be shown)

5- Exit 'Test Menu' all the way back by pressing Start key

 

Enjoy more with 4 hidden characters

if you are using x64 standalone just copy wii folder from x64\User\Wii to \Documents\Dolphin Emulator

 

make sure you have the right Visual C++ Redistributable

i don't understand this topic....this game (wii version) is playable since longtime ago on dolphin.......

the arcade version is very different than wii version ?

Tatsunoko vs Capcom arcade running on NINTENDO WII BASED HARDWARE, therefore removing marginal differences in the game the only difference is the insert coin which like any arcade makes it usable to be mounted on a cabinet (to the delight of bootleggers)

Thanks for the info. I knew about the tatsunoko vs. capcom game, but this one it totallly new for me
Maybe it will be playable too at some point

Neither in the game nor in the emulator do I find those guidelines

its all about preservation of more arcade games as playable even if sometimes there’s a port.

I can't get into the test menu, I have this game from this series and it works perfectly on the Wii emulator but there are 21 characters, it's from 2005, I don't know if it will be another version, if so, can you send me the link or tell me if this game is like it? access the test menu thanks

make sure you have this set and then test menu should work.  

 

the Wii version is vastly superior to the arcade.  other than preservation or showing off for Internet clout, there's no real reason to play the arcade dump over the Wii game.

In the emulator before this one it works for me but this menu does not appear, as with your change, in this latest version of dolphin bar from 11/20/2024 these errors appear and the game does not work for me

Pack contains main & satellite (client) version.

 

You can import NAND (main) from Dolphin and the game starts in attract mode.

 

Satellite is required to play the game but I/O emulation is WIP atm.

The arcade version has 22 characters, use the one from first post and unlock the 4 with the password.
