if I hadn't tried it myself, I wouldn't have bothered saying they it wasn't going to work and say exactly what would happen if you do.

 

all you did was tell me don't know how to use SegaTools without telling me you don't know how to use SegaTools.

 

the emulation profile for most of the newer Sega stuff isn't in any of the open source TP repos on GitHub, so you can't even edit the source code & recompile to make the necessary changes for it to work.

It works for me too and with full screen vertically as should not with bezels but as i wrote trying to get it to work with tp i edited in the past a few xml files etc for games not supported by tp that worked but for 2020 version it doesn’t work.

The wide is wrong, I need to get back to it, when I have more time, needs thinner for proper aspect ratio

I know this has been asked already but nobody seems to be responding...does anybody know (and is willing to explain) exactly how you make the files do anything that resembles a working game? Apologies if it appears that I am asking with some kind of tone (I am not), but it is like it is a huge secret that nobody is willing to share. As you can see, I don't post too frequently but, when I do, it is either to ask for guidance or to give guidance where I can. Are we not all in the arcade emulation enthusiast community? Why do we hesitate to help each other?

 

Anyway, I would be very appreciative if anyone can point me in the correct direction. I have downloaded the latest Segatools. I have no idea what exactly they do or how to use them. I cannot see anything in the rar file that looks like it talks about this particular game. Many thanks in advance if you are that somebody. Suffice to say, if I do manage to figure it out by myself I will post exactly what I did to get it working. Merci beaucoup. A bientot.

 

I have figured a little bit out (I remember doing something similar for SWDC)...

 

You have to modify a segatools.ini with paths to different things (amfs, appdata etc). My download does not seem to have these files in them (I think they are ICF or something similar). Anyway, if I remember/find them, I'll update here. Thanks.

Well I set it up when was first added, so don't recall all the steps, but everything you need is with the Sega tools for it, if you scroll to the bottom of one of the pgs, has another download it tells you to grab, so it's just go slowly and read carefully and everything, it's all there, how to change language and very/ or not and so on, and what's already been posted here for info, and some things can't be shared, since some of it requires paths and such done on each user side, aswell as can't speak for others, but usually get no thanks or very little on here for sharing or helping, one of the last things I posted had over 70 downloads in 3 hours and no thank you or likes, doesn't make me want to help or share, and that happens lots here , also when people do share, someone complains and ask for re-up with different file share, there is also a user 2 or 3 up, that keeps getting banned and coming back with alt accounts, and been trying his best to harress myself and others on this forum

With the help of a very kind member of the community I now have it working. It has been explained to me why the instructions are not just posted here and I understand. If anybody else needs helps send a PM and I will message you the instructions privately as per the instructions I received. I have not managed to get the xinput part working so I had to play on keyboard. I also couldn't figure out the resolution so I played on a vertical monitor so I will not be able to help out with any of those issues. Thanks to the guy that helped me. He knows who he is.

What are the controls on keyboard for this game? I only could to find F1 and F2 for test and service button, and F3 for coin..

Unsupported CRC plase  use a supported  version of the game It gives this error. I downloaded it from the link at the beginning of the topic. It is the latest version of TP.

it's like so weird.  you would think it would say "PLEASE READ" in big bold letters for that very reason to make sure people download the right files they need!
