This has nothing to do with mystery encoder tho... youll need to reach out to forever entertainment. If it was made the same as the first 1 then the patch would have been a simple copy and paste... Sadly its not. Mystery encoder is a random guy and doesnt work for these developers. You have a personal and unique situation, I dont have this issue on my build and I have several encoders such as a xinmo and 2 sjjx boards What encoder do you have? Is it set to xoutput? Maybe in game settings make sure your in keyboard / mouse mode and not Xbox controller mode? Edited August 13 by vic_vp

That’s all. I just thought he might know more because he’s been in the game files where these controls are set, and since he made the mod for the first game, I figured he’d know what changed and what didn’t. What an absolute mess this game is. It’s not a big deal I’ll just make a DevCon script to temporarily disable the USB. Edited August 13 by Ericg384

Even if I point my Wiimote completely off the screen it registers it as a shot and not a reload. I am using Demulshooter 16.2 using an autohotkey script to run Demulshooter with the game. I also configured the arcade mod 3.0. run DemulShooterX64.exe -target=windows -rom=hotdra run "The House of the Dead Remake.exe"
argonlefou Posted Monday at 07:39 PM Author Posted Monday at 07:39 PM There are half a dozen ways to make a Wiimote run as a lightgun with DemulShooter (touchmote, dolphin bar, etc ...) and it can be seen by DS either as a mouse or a gamepad... If the Input Type of the plugin is correctly set as it should (Multiplayer to be compatible with DS), then the issue does not come from the game plugin, but from the way you're configuring your wiimote with DS

I have the same problem in HOTD 3 with your arcade mod. It's just me I don't use multiplayer. Should I use mode 4 anyway? I just realized I'm not even using Demulshooter with HOTD 3. Google says I'm using the correct mode: You cannot use Dolphin Bar Mode 4 for DemulShooter in one-player mode; instead, use Mode 2 (Game Controller Mode) for DemulShooter, as it functions as a mouse, which is necessary for one player. Some games and emulators, such as the PC version of The House of the Dead 4, can work with Dolphin Bar in Mode 4 using a third-party app like Touchmote. To play with DemulShooter in one-player mode, ensure your Dolphin Bar is set to Mode 2, and DemulShooter is correctly configured for the game you are playing.
