I had control issues and that helped me.

Thanks here’s the problem it’s detecting my arcade board, so I have to unplug it for the game to work. This didn’t happen in the first version. What changed, and is there any way to incorporate the old behavior into this one?

But you originally wrote you cant even play the game even without the mod... so even a fresh install of the game you cant play thus game even with a mouse?

If thats the case then you definitly have some other issue happening that has nothing to do with the mod or mystery encoder

Hey Vic, could you pass this message along to Mystery Encoder it’s detecting my arcade board, so I have to unplug it for the game to work. This didn’t happen in the first version. What changed, and is there any way to go back to the first game and how it detected controls?

This has nothing to do with mystery encoder tho... youll need to reach out to forever entertainment.

If it was made the same as the first 1 then the patch would have been a simple copy and paste... Sadly its not. Mystery encoder is a random guy and doesnt work for these developers. You have a personal and unique situation, I dont have this issue on my build and I have several encoders such as a xinmo and 2 sjjx boards 

 

What encoder do you have? Is it set to xoutput? Maybe in game settings make sure your in keyboard / mouse mode and not Xbox controller mode?

I know he doesn’t work for the developers  I was simply asking if, in his opinion, if it’s possible. That’s all. I just thought he might know more because he’s been in the game files where these controls are set, and since he made the mod for the first game, I figured he’d know what changed and what didn’t. What an absolute mess this game is. It’s not a big deal  I’ll just make a DevCon script to temporarily disable the USB.
