great!

What folder is the corresponding path of teknoparrot ui?
Play Data Files
arcaderoms
Play
arcadedefs?

You can place your rom where you want.

When you add game with teknoparrot ui, click on the game, go on game settings and enter the rom path

So, I tried everything I could to get the drums to work in Taiko on Teknoparrot Play, and none of the JVS buttons worked, so I made an input profile for the shoulder buttons, and then did a PR for all 7 games with the input profile. That’s probably the only way it’ll work. You have to put the input (taiko_input.xml) in the input profile folder in Play data files, so the game will work properly. The Tp Devs probably will have to add a special type of input helper for those games

Taiko does not recognize the jvs inputs assigned in the TPUI because it uses its hard coded ones (1-2 LK LD / 8-9 RK RD), same thing for the Animal Kaiser series (Test / cards input), so unless a workaround is done there is no point in making a profile of it

Ok. I’ll close the PR. Maybe there will be an input helper added for the Taiko series & Animal Kaiser series in the future.

I have looked everywhere on the topic and cannot find the backup ram for Pac-man arcade party, it says I can initialize it from the test menu, however no matter what I set as test button, I cannot get into the test menu, Does anyone happen to know where to find the backup ram file? if they can be so kind please.

Cntrl+alt+direction key.

also, I can provide a few files for a game that may not be supported on Teknoparrot for a while and by a few I mean 8 (just some xmls and inputs).

edit: I’m referring to the Taiko games. I configured the controls in Play. All you have to do is put them in the inputs folder in the Play Data files folder, and use my XML file for Taiko No Tatsujin 7 (copy paste it 7 times & just rename them to Taiko8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.

Taiko Files. Inputs have to be placed in the input profiles folder in your Play Data Files folder. XMLs get placed in the game profiles folder. Have fun. Also, don't configure the drum buttons on Teknoparrot because they are hardcoded to red drums (shoulder buttons/L1 & R1 buttons), and cymbals are the trigger buttons (L2/R2).taiko13.jsontaiko12.jsontaiko11.jsontaiko10.jsontaiko9.jsontaiko8.jsontaiko7.jsontaiko14.jsonTaiko_Inputs.xml

taiko13.xml

taiko12.xml

taiko11.xml

taiko10.xml

taiko9.xml

taiko8.xml

taiko7.xml

taiko14.xml

If you don't use the input buttons I provided the red drums are hardcoded to the 1 & 8 keys and the cymbals are 3 & 9

On the link in page 1 Taiko 11,12,13 are not there. Anyone have please?

I have all of them. I can upload them a bit later. Sounds like the Teknoparrot devs are going to add the inputs for those games.

I don’t have the special versions of the games. Just the 7 regular Taiko games

The CAPCOM FIGHTING JAM game is getting into this every time I press play on teknoparrot, before it was working normally, I even downloaded another ROM, but it still keeps getting into this screen, does anyone know what it could be?

I just update Teknoparrot today just a few minutes ago and I could enter Test and set it to Freeplay and now it's working, this is Battle Royale, guess must be the same for Pac-Man Arcade Party

just delete in arcadesaves its backupram

I did this for CAPCOM FIGHTING JAM but still has the issue of getting into Test Mode when pressing start.

so, enter, restore backup ram inside menu, save and exit

The thing is it cannot be done, once you insert coins and then press start it auto enters in test menu and there all the buttons are unresponsive, TP today's update fixed this very issue in Pac-man Batttle Royale but it broke Capcom Fighting Jam

Try deleting the userprofile for Capcom Fighting Jam

Anyone able to get Cobra The world working on TP? I get a link error which I can get passed but then I get a black screen after "Now Loading"

This is my setup for World. It doesn't have a stage select like the Japanese version afaik but I haven't beaten them yet. The dongle files inside the zip determine the region.
