This is for the standalone version of Play, not the one through Teknoparrot.

My version of Battle Gear 3 just shows a black screen when I load the game. Do you have the CHD and ROMs for this game? Thank you. I know it doesn’t work properly, but when it does I’ll be able to play it

Sorry to be a pain, but I’m getting the file mismatch error with your arcadedef file. I downloaded the CHD from a site that had the latest dump of battle gear 3. 

It seems like this is the case for all of the dumps of BG3. Either that or I get a black screen. 🤔

Not sure why Battle Gear 3 is giving me issues. I tried several different dumps, and I either got the mismatch error, or the game would start, but just show a black screen

Mismatch error = Chd needs to be reconverted with Chdman

I'll reconvert BG3

 

update: I put the newest version of chdman in my 2x6 conversion folder, and extracted the CHD, made it an IMG/BIN, renamed the bin to batlgear3a, converted that into a CHD, and I booted up the game, and I actually got it to work up until after you select your course. (Hangs at The load screen in the lower right-hand corner)

I downloaded the zip and chd, converted the chd with chdman, and reconverted in chd, tried some of the arcade def but always the same error

 

Can you share the battle gear 3 chd converted and the zip please?

On the TP build of Play you have to load the games through the TeknoparrotUI. Otherwise it won’t work.

 i have been loading through Tp Ui also setting up controls in tp game settings but no joy unfortunately

 

update: its ok i hit the R3 and after saving gettings in test menu of Cacpcom fighting jam both work fine now

So after I put these 2 files in the arcade roms folder I will be able to insert coins and control with the mouse? If you can't tell I've never used Play! before and it seems overly complicated for such a simple emulator. I don't even see an option in the control set up to insert coins. Is that what these 2 files do is change the control set up or what? Thanks and sorry for not knowing what the hell I'm doing with this.

You will need to also put the chd in a folder named same as the zip

Hello people, i'm looking for the original Tekken 5, not Tekken 5.1 nor Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, can't find it anywhere (chd, rom, anything), can someone help?

You should be able to insert coins as long as the arcadedef is set up properly after you convert the .img file to a CHD.

We are both talking about the standalone version right? Not the TP version. The game is running good. No matter what I do I can't change any controls over to a mouse and i can't insert coins to start the game....since that is what i want to use for Vampire Night. All these files people are sending me aren't doing anything. I do very much appreciate the help it's just that nothing is changing when I apply them.
