How to run games in full/activated mode on Xenia

By default Xenia runs ALL XBLA/digital games in demo/trial mode.

To run games in full/activated mode you need to change license_mask = 0 to -1 or 1 (depending on the game.) in xenia.config.toml.

It will be in Documents\Xenia by default. If portable.txt is present it will be in the same directory as xenia.exe.

There are 2 versions Vulcan and DirectX 12 versions Video above is using DX12 version for best FPS!

This emulator has the Devolver game developer involved now and should see major improvements in 2020 and future.

Or u can use my "custom" build for more convenience :/

Xbla unlocked by default and error logging are disabled too.

Just tested Otomedius Gorgeous on Directx12 Version of Xenia worked flawless in full screen!

Just tried Hydro Thunder Hurricane. There's no in-game music. Is that a known issue with Xenia?... or do I just have a crap version of the game with the music ripped out.

Sorry im not sure I havn't tested the game myself on PC as I am on RGH xbox 360 real hardware. Might check the compatibility site! Here: https://xenia.jp/

I would say if theres sound in the video then it works, theres two versions DirectX12 and Vulcan. You need to use a GOD (Games on Demand) or ISO of the game there is alot of JTAG, RGH stuff that wont work. A good site for trustworthy ISO and GODs is: https://downloadgamexbox.com/list-all-game-xbox-iso/

 

This site has all the information you need to rebuild jtag/rgh files back to GOD files or ISOs or whatever! https://digiex.net/forums/

Thanks for the info. Yes, that's the site I used to grab the game. Game works pretty good with minor glitches (so far) I just don't get in-game music, oh well. I just tried Xenia for the first time and I still have to do some research as I don't know what I'm doing. 

 

I also tried NBA Jam On Fire Edition and I am unable to change teams at the team selection screen. The analog stick and d-pad simply don't respond. The game seems to play great otherwise. Once I changed the license_mask = -1 to 1 in xenia.config.toml the game will not let me create a save file (it fails) but now I can choose the teams/players just fine. I guess more research and experimenting is needed ;)

Youre using xenia to run it though through the xex inside the folders youre just using pc launcher ahk to run in rocket launcher?. Also did you just add xenia as an emulator as its not in the RL database

 

did you create your own database or is there an xml for it kickng about

anyone able to give a noob a bit of a heads up on how to get these to run in RL ive added the emu and the path of the xex when populating systems using PC launcher as the module but when i try to launch game it doesnt launch at all where am i going wrong

Has anyone gotten the Tempest DLC for Hydro Thunder Hurricane to work in Xenia?

I followed the tutorials for DLCs, but the DLC content is never showing up.

the game works easy on dolphin but it looks like shit compared to xbox360
