  1. Think we are all grumpy gits when go past 40!
  2. I think you are getting the wrong end of the stick. I've not dissed anybody's work at all, I appreciate it, but had a question over it. That's acceptable isn't it without getting my head bitten off. I was wondering why the change, was it deliberate to hide the loading in-between scenes, something else, personal preference or maybe an error on my part, am I missing something? Given it appears to be the only version I've seen that does this, fair question why I think. That's all I asked, never dissed it, never said I don't like it, I queried it.....or is that not allowed?
  3. On the mega link, DLe, loads and plays fine. However the skeleton to Dirk respawn scene appears in-between every level, it's not like this in other versions or the arcade, wondering why here? Pressing 9 gives options and you can select in graphic options, extra movies, - ready or none. Switching to none turns the scenes off in-between levels, but it then doesn't show the respawn sequence at all when you die? An error or a deliberate change due to loading the scenes? Is there a similar version with available options that plays similar to the arcade, but in HD quality like here? Many thanks
  4. Some great work has been done on this. Greatly appreciated. Any bezals available? Couldn't see one in the original archive
  5. Just to confirm it is possible to play without an internet connection Once loaded on a machine with a connection, enter settings / test menu and select Network Test Network ID will show 2, move down to ID = 1 and choose disconnect
  6. Tried 2 versions - one from the Teknoparrot Telegram channel and one from romsfun (where all their others have worked) Had the same issue someone else had on here where they posted the screen flashes up and then crashes The MEGA link above (that wont start) states 6.97gb size, one from romsfun is 5.6gb but 7.73 when extracted I ran the patch - followed the instructions with the decompress and renamed the correct files in the CookedPC folder But no joy - I get the .exe error when I use RSLauncher as the .exe Failed to run process when DomeShooterGames-Win64-Shipping,exe used Clicked borderless window in settings and windows in case resolution is the error Can someone confirm the correct.exe to run the game - guessing it is RSLauncher?? MEGA upload seems to start now so fingers crossed can get it work
  7. MEGA link still loads but won't initialise - hoping can work again Can't get this one to wokr - using the RSLauncher.exe, but get get a message using an icorrect .exe - tried the start.bat and the domefix. exe from patches after following the instructions but no luck
  8. No probs, thanks for the reply, was just checking hadn't missed an easy fix somewhere
  9. Chase HQ 2 tests for an I/O connection on start. Crashes if one not available I have an old PC in an Arcade1Up cab without an internet connection, so the game doesn't work I was just asking if there was a fix around this.
  10. Hi, is there a fox or patch to avoid the game needing an internet connection to run? Many thanks
  11. Managed to get it to work - SUCCESS! Copied below in case anyone else struggled as well: Create a new folder and name it gallagher.daphne and place it in the folder below: In RetroBat/roms/daphne/roms Inside gallagher.daphne there should be 139 files. This is made up of the 4 files in the original gallagher download: gallagher.dat gallagher.mpeg gallagher.ogg gallagher.txt You also need to extract all of the contents of the gallagher.zip file in here as well The game now runs in RetroBat Phew - now relax lol
  12. Ok - downloaded latest Hypseus via Github - 2.11.4 Managed to get it to run via a .bat file - will have a go again via RetroBat and post here if I have success
  13. Video does not show how? Downloaded latest RetroBat and same error on loading Gallaghers Gallery. Anyone managed to get it working in there? Tried several ways, renaming files, unzipping then, etc...get so close with the parsing video message....then the crash Will attempt again later after work
  14. So Singe 2 can't run it then? That YouTube clip has no further info / links to download that frontend? Just something where you don't have to click a .bat files to play a game
  15. Hi - great to see this after playing it in WinUAE Trying to install it into my RetroBat system - hoping someone can help. I have all the others in there and loading up fine, but hitting a brick wall with this one All of my laserdisc games are in the same folder I have put Gallagher in - I have tried it with that folder name and also gallagher.daphne "Could not open file: C:RetroBat\roms\uncompressed\daphne\gallagher.zip\singe\gallagher\.gallagherm2v" As it could not open the .zip, I unzipped the contents but no joy. The screen shows parsing video data, looks ready to load, but then the error EDIT - Just noticed Hypseus Singe version on my RetroBat is 2.11.1 - unsure if this is causing the error?
  16. Many thanks - worked a treat
  17. Just noticed Gallaghers Gallery released recently. Will this be able to run through Singe 2, I like the launcher with the box art and vid clips of the games. Better than running via . bat files Checked first page of thread and no new update for Singe 2 for a couple of years, will I need Hypseus to play it? Just with Singe 2 being able to load up all the other video disc games, presumed would be ok here as well.
  18. Hi - links in first post dead. Looking for the TP ready version please. Found one elsewhere but inputs not recognised / insert coin / start, etc

[Tuto] Pinball FX 3 Cabinet Mode

Hi I did not want to start a new thread. Has anyone got Pup Packs to work with FX3 Nailbusters site says they only work with official FX3 launched via Steam - is that correct - as I downloaded FX3 from here Downloaded the Baller Installer and changed the launch paramters from Steam to the crack.exe but it would not launch via the frontend
  20. Cheers for the reply Was struggling with this, but confirm Blue Thunder working now. As you said above, changing the script helped and just kept checking the log for errors Phew - at last! Can relax Many thanks again
  21. Finally getting more to work. Sound in GP World, etc. Only having a problem with final batch of games - Action Max ones I have followed this guide: Installing Files (fugly way)- https://github.com/DirtBagXon/hypseus-singe/discussions/88 The videos start parsing up to 100% then I get the snort and an error: SINGE: error compiling script: cannot open singe/../actionmax.daphne/emulator.singe: No such file or directory In my Retrobat / Roms directory I have: 38ambushalley.daphne bluethunder.daphne hydrosub2021.daphne popsghostly.daphne sonicfury.daphne inside each folder I have the full contents from 00-singe1 / actionmax I have then put the.m2v and.ogg files inside for example C:\RetroBat\roms\daphne\38ambushalley.daphne\38ambushalley (.m2v & .ogg in here) The menu and actionmaxintro m2v / ogg files are inside the first (game name).daphne game folders Unsure why not working, nearly there as video parsing is always nearly completed. I have added the actionmax folder to the Retrobat / Roms directory and also renamed it actionmax.daphne. Same error The log error says cannot open actionmax.daphne/emulator.singe - but it is inside that directory - do I have to rename the dofile("singe/actionmax/framework.singe")???? I tried amending it to "actionmax.daphne.singe" same problem Hope someone can help
  22. Ok man - I downloaded the big 60gb file Once extracted Road Blasters works fine using the .bat file. every single time - starts at the correct position I copied the file over to Retrobat, but scenes all messed up again. I decided to copy over all the daphne 4k files into my retrobat/emulators/daphne file - overwriting the existing ones, hoping that would work. However again, Road Blasters has all messed up scenes regardless if Daphne or Hypseus selected Not sure how to get Retrobat to use the .bat files - if it is even possible at all. Unless anyone out there has an idea what to do? Looks like there is a way to create.bat files for games in your Steam library using bat.gui, but that is all I can fine Edit - there is a gamefile list in the roms/daphne file. Has a path list of games: <game id="51172"> <path>./roadblaster.daphne</path> <name>Road Blaster</name> <desc>In Road Blaster, your mission is to seek out a gang of bikers who attacked and killed your wife. You are behind the wheel of a supped-up sports car, weaving in and out of traffic and other obstacles while in pursuit of the bikers.</desc> <emulator>hypseus</emulator> <core>hypseus</core> I amended the path and it always changes back to standard . daphne path. Must be a command line somewhere to edit per game? Unless I can add a command line in somewhere other than Daphne Loader (as that did not work) for the bank argument to stop random scenes as this is in the Rom by default
  23. Hi man - sorry for late reply. Yes, Retrobat is not using any.bat files to start the games In the Daphne roms folder in Retrobat (there is no Hypseus rom folder) you name a folder with .daphne (regardless if using Daphne or Hypseus) If there is a rom (some of the Hypseus ones like Mad Dog McRee do not have them) I place it in a separate roms folder inside Retrobat / Roms / Daphne / Roms So for instance Road Blaster can work in Hypseus or Daphne (I just go into advanced settings to tell Retrobat what to use) The file structure is: C:\RetroBat\roms\daphne\roadblaster.daphne Inside here hold: roadblaster.dat roadblaster.m2v roadblaster.ogg roadblaster.txt (holds 1 roadblaster.m2v) C:\RetroBat\roms\daphne\roms Inside here holds: roadblaster.zip 00.bin 01.bin 02.bin 03-06.bin 04-07.bin 05-08.bin 06.bin 07.bin 08.bin Game loads fine if I select Hypseus or Daphne emulator, but both tend to start at ranbdom scenes (highway / through water sewers) rather than the traditional starting scene Retrobat has an emulators folder (with both Daphne & Hypseus) in there and does link in as the Hypseus log is correct when I attempt to load a game. Inside the Daphne folder, I selected Daphne Loader / Road Blaster / Advanced and inside Custom command-line entered -bank 1 00000001 Made no difference. Unsure if Retrobat is bypassing this, I entered a different Framefile in the Laserdisc config and the game still loaded up??? I have attached both Daphne & Hypseus logs when loading Road Blaster. I think I am doing everything right hypseus log.txt daphne_log.txt
  24. Not tried the .bat filed DarkVoid - I may give it a go this weekend GP World has ingame sound now????
