Dooode, did you ever heard the words "girlfriend" and "Prozac"? ...still not sure if it would work in your case but you should really try that magic combo... they say it does miracles... PS. ...if you download Grammarly maybe the people will have less problem to understand your rants, it's free by the way! -

...touche! I definitely enjoy the drama when karma shows up through the words of some Chevalier, you couldn't explain better the concept... Fire10 you made my day, thanx!! -
First of all... i'm not associated with the dev team so I'm not writing this to take necessarily their side... It's called common sense... when someone gives you for free a cutting edge product made by an impressive amount of work and is honestly asking just for a modest support from those who really understand what it means working hard (and from a programmer perspective it means night and day), that's exactly the situation where everyone should think instead of complaining, in the last decade the whole video games industry got screw by a scam business model imposed by Apple called "free to play" which helped THEM to become the first trillion dollars company in this field, the repercussions are devastating since first project indie developers are struggling to survive by now because as a result the new generations are growing with the idea that gaming is a free thing when actually it's just an illusion, in the last years teams are literally dying after releasing their very first project because people are adopting a parasitic mindset against every kind of logic just to fulfill a greedy desire to collect anything they came across, ask yourself one simple question, "can I live without eating?"... the answer it's ridiculously obvious of course, so there's nothing wrong in asking 5 miserable bucks after providing for free the fruits of your efforts, it's called motivation, the whole debate it's just pointless and shows how sadly the people has stopped using common sense when it's time to pay back some peanuts to those who are clearly investing time and money in something that we all agree to be a neat work driven by passion... to summarize what i've just said, be more informed about how this field works because the future it's not gonna be bright nor better if we stop to support developers, I agree with freedom of speech and thank god on Emuline there's plenty of room for that but your point sounds more like a childish rant, my suggestion is read more, think twice and talk half... peace!

As soon as I update my database i will upload another pack, the emu is evolving at the speed of light, neat neat work from the devs, hats off!! PS. ...and thanx to you too for letting me know about the existence of redream... it's getting more and more difficult for me to stay always updated, thank god there's emuline and people like you! PPS. We should seriously make a petition to the dev team asking to implement naomi and atomiswave... Redream can really do magic also with low spec computers and looking how much resources needs demul to run decently there's really no comparison between those two...
-
@ginzu Hey Ginzu, since the quality of the covers that the emu automatically downloads are kinda cheap here's a link to the first pack of covers i restored, ready to go, the zip is comprehensive of all the most iconic titles, hope it's useful!! https://mega.nz/#!R0UVHYza !HtzYBxwiELYLmtNYoyB7AxRkvGARh43NZtruEhutyIo

Domo arigato DJ, now works perfectly, you rock!!
-
...got the same issue and already reported to DJExpert while ago , he said it's kinda rare and it shouldn't happen... it seems that no others apart the both of us has experienced it... in the other hand the game works perfectly without ALLRH... at least it's an option!

[Arcade PC] Space Ace + Dragon's Lair AC - BRD REMASTERED (Laserdisc) Hello folks, Since I received some requests I edited this post adding also DL, so here it is... Ultra Street Fighter IV doesn't save the settings from the test menu... like language and 2P mode... Is there anyone has already managed to fix this? -
@ginzu Wow... Ginzu, at a first glance this emulator is far better than Demul, trying the mac version and it's flawless, I'm definitely impressed by the audio emulation too... Nice nice catch bro, thanx a lot!! PS If they implement also Naomi emulation that would be totally rad... and for 5 bucks supporting the project it's a no brainer, totally worth it! PPS. Now I'm downloading a shitload of DC iso... LOL
-
No bro, it shows only "Time Out Error (GGXXACP_RE2.exe)" and no code after, here a screen cap I forgot to mention that I'm using a macbook pro with bootcamp but this is basically the only game among all the compatible titles that shows this error, everything else runs super good and smooth... another detail i can give you is that I'm not using any front-end to run the game and I've set the screen to 1920x1080 directly from the Nvidia settings instead of using the native resolution in order to avoid scaling... Anyway, Thank you so much for the quick reply and if no one else is having the same issue it's ok, the game runs fine with TP, I just wanted to make sure if it was something that could be fixed easily... PS by the way... I totally agree with anx10us, you r damn talented!!
-
@djexpert Hi Dj, I'm having a problem with GGXXACP with the release 305 and still with 306, basically if I leave the game running in demo mode it crashes after a couple of minutes giving this message: "Time Out Error (GGXXACP_RE2.exe) ... Waited for two minutes but the game did not start properly Or you are starting a game not supported by Game Loader" I was wondering if you are aware of this or if I'm the only one encountering this bug, I'm on Win10 X64 using an Nvidia card ( set loader 6, full screen on, TP window mode off), the game runs fine with TP actually and I had no crashes whatsoever... Since I deeply love your work and I prefer to use AllRH could you please let me know if it's something you can fix? Thank you very much in advance and keep up the good work, you damn rock!!

[Arcade PC] DRAGON'S LAIR II TIME WARP AC - BRD REMASTERED (Laserdisc)

OK Guys, since more than few people have the same issue here I gave you the solution but please stop sending PM asking for questions you can easily get it by yourself if you squeeze a little bit your brain and you do some quick research, it-s definitely not rocket science and I have REALLY REALLY REALLY no time (REALLY) to support SO from now on I will totally ignore PM with this kind of requests. Here it is... daphne.exe lair2 vldp -framefile ..\..\Daphne\vldp\TimeWarpHD\TimeWarpHDframefile.txt -x 800 -y 600 -fullscreen_window -noserversend -opengl NOW 1 Rename game folder and framefile in order to remove all the blank space in it (see the batch example above, blank spaces in batch files are used only to split the informations), THEN 2 Place the game folder (TimeWarpHD) in "Daphne\vldp" (if you don-t have it in the main folder just create it), NOW 3 YOU HAVE TO EDIT the framefile.txt FIRST LINE with the location you choose to place it (my is C:\Users\Nesys\Desktop\Daphne\vldp\TimeWarpHD .... yours I don-t know, that-s why you have to edit it... ), THEN 4 You have to point Daphne to the framefile location directly from the PROGRAM CONFIGURE OPTIONS (the .bat file can-t guess by itself where is it), so open Daphne, choose the game, click "configure", click "configure laserdisc" and edit the field "MPEG framefile location", NOW 5 double click the .bat file and play, that-s it. PS A little suggestion, If you understand how a batch file works it-s very easy then to reverse engineering whatever .bat you find on your way... trust me, it doesn-t require a bachelor degree in astro-physics and you are gonna have some fun in learning something new, hope I was enough clear, Cheers!

It seems Laserdisc games are pretty famous in Italy and Spain too, glad you guys enjoy, have a blast! ...I finished recently some restoration tests for Thayer's Quest, here a preview sample ( https://ibb.co/ehySeo ), I was almost tempted to start a project about restoring every single playable LD game left but I'm only afraid my girlfriend is gonna kill me for real...LoL ...maybe this will happen anyway at the speed of a turtle, let's see if time will not be a bitch... -

Thanx for the help, just one thing... I think it's not necessary any second tool to use a gamepad like it shows in the tutorial, just plug it in and it should be recognized by Daphne automatically! -

yeah, all the 16:9 versions i saw are horribly cropped, for instance Dragon's Lair has few scenes (one for sure I remember is the collapsing pool) where is barely possible to perceive the flashing hint direction from the bottom, I personally believe that all the laser games should be played on a real cab or at least on a crt TV screen but that's how it goes, 4:3 ratio will be soon (if it's not already) something that the new generations will totally miss or ignore... it's somehow a pity but i guess it's inevitable... -

Hello again folks, as I promised here we are with the Dragon’s Lair II Time Warp Bluray (4:3 ratio) Arcade Remaster which from my knowledge it’s probably the only existing version, I did it 8/9 years ago and it was a frame by frame work (pretty much a pain in the ass) and finally here it is for the whole community… as I usually say, please enjoy and have a blast with it! LINK: https://mega.nz/#!pxlGnKhJ KEY: !FFUoY_aE4S33T0IDpH3emGkhffloXrlNfic8URWlH3g Keep always in mind that this remaster was done to be played on a real cabinet at that time so please don’t ask for 1080p formats cause this is the only version I did. The game comes without Daphne emulator so just copy/paste the folder wherever you wish, edit the path in the Framefile.txt and that’s it, ready to go! For any question about Daphne emu please refer to the official website since I have really no time to answer, thanx for understanding… There's included also the usual CD layout in HQ you can print. …almost forgot… in case you are missing the rom files you can find it in the game folder! Next upload will be Space Ace BRD Arcade Remaster and a neat restoration of the Japanese version of Mad Dog McCree released by Capcom in Asia, so far so good!! PS. Trivia: If you take a close look at the title screen you will see an odd particular, the Japanese version of the bluray seems to be licensed exclusively to Nintendo… ??? Here a comparison between my remaster and the original LD capture.- 33 réponses

No Manson, there's no HD sources available... time permitting, i will do a remaster of Thunder Storm and Road Blaster with the same technique i used for Time Gal and Hayate since i have a fairly good quality SD source for them... it should be enough to revamp the whole visual.. I'm only afraid it's gonna take a while... I will keep you posted for sure don't worry! -

Daphne can't manage HD resolutions since its original purpose was meant to replicate 1:1 the laserdisc experience which comes in SD definition (the glorious old 4:3 TV aka 640x480), the emulator is so neat and precise that can be used to control real LD hardware and actually this is its primary function (the original cabinets used to have so many issues related to the hardware so the genius of Matt Ownby came across to the idea of developing a software to replace the pcb and control the LD player with a PC and that's how Daphne was intended to be originally), the only way to remaster in HD a LD game is to have the best quality source of the content you need for the specific game you love (if it exists) and rebuild the whole LD video track frame by frame with a video editing software (aka a huge pain in the ass), i hope this is gonna clear many doubts out there! So far there's only a limited amount of titles that can be remastered since there's no HD source available, these games are Dragon's Lair 1&2, Space Ace, Cliff Hanger and Bega's Battle which I will probably remaster some day in the future since i have the japanese blu-ray version of the movie footage used for it, the only exception comes for Time Gal and Ninja Hayate which I have remastered using post-productions techniques with advanced softwares, that's pretty much all I can tell you.
