I installed all dlc and updates (I think) and only have these characters? Only actual Swich I have like 60 characters.

This is my first time trying this emulator and I'm having trouble installing firmware. I have 11.0.1 from darthstenies it's a bunch of nca files but when I go to the directory it's darked out and can't select anything. I also tried installing nsp / xci but not keeps giving me an error "system update was not found in the firmware package" 

Figured out installing firmware but Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered plays terrible and its supposed to work according to compatibility list.

Specs: Nvidia 1650 GTX 16 GB Ram 

Processor: Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz, 2400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Nevermind the other one worked.

Also if someone wants to use controller like I do you can use joytokey map keyboard to controller. 

I'm having trouble getting the keyboard to work though. I binded keys but they still don't work.

I never could get it to work, but now with the new spicetools works fine with both versions !

I run the game from c:\name of folder\contents

No need works fine from any location

 

Make a .txt file and insert

 

spice.exe -ea

 

save the file

rename .txt to .bat and run the .bat file

 

Seem to be stuck on this screen?

Is there a compatibility list for this emulator when I search google it thinks I mean Cemu (Wii U) emulator.

I'm trying to get the chihiro games to work with it, but the loader itself throws an error when i try to launch it, and direct booting doesn't really work well on xbox in the first place. 

Like I said there's no reason to believe the chiriro games work. If you can't get it to work with hacked compatibility you are out of options. There isn't any other way to get original Xbox games to work. It's not like a typical emulator wher you can change settings and try different things. There's nothing else you can try.

It didn't work you should move on because it's never going to work because there's no reason to believe someone is going to improve compaitiblity. Even the 2018 hacked files didn't improve compatibility make any additional games work from the previous one in 2011. That synopsis you posted didn't improve compatibility.  I get that it sounds good and at the time we were all hopefully but it was a nothingburger.  I am positive more than any actual original Xbox games though that the Chihiro games do not work on Xbox 360, period.

I don't know what you mean by "how much access" It has a limited list of original Xbox games that can work on Xbox 360. If you have an rgh and have the hacked compatibility files a few more games work but overall it's still less than 50% of original Xbox games that work. If that's what you're asking. 

I've never seen anything that says Virua Cop 3 works on Xbox 360. I'm pretty sure it does not. Crazy Taxi 3 if you get the original Xbox game not Sega chihiro rom it should worked with hacked compatibility on rgh only.

Hard to believe, I remember playing it in arcades. I assumed at the time that not only would arcades be around forever but there'd be a bunch of sequels to MK on arcade. This is why I'm not a good fortune teller I can't predict the future.

Well I learned something new myself I didn't know a different format would make a difference in using a mouse or not. 

The matching roms are in the link, you need to download the .zip and the chd for each game you want (although a few don't have a chd)

That's not true Flycast is very good for Naomi it's just very picky about bios and you have to make sure you put the chd in a folder to match the name of the game.

I am fairly certain Demulshooter is meant for actual lightguns only not a mouse. 

If you look for Flycast standalone (or if you prefer, use it in Retroarch) it has built in mouse support and it works with Naomi games such as Maze of the Kings.  No Demulshooter or additional scripts are needed.

Arcades have been holding on by a thread for a long time, and coronavirus is probably the end of them.

It seems you can ONLY play this with a combination of mouse, keyboard and xbox controller. 

 

-With the keyboard you need to press Shift+T to insert coins, followed by Shift+H to activate the crosshairs

-Mouse controls the aiming

-On the Xbox controller LB switches you to left side of cover, while RB moves you to the right. To get out of cover and be able to shoot stuff, you simply press the button from the side you are on (ex: if you are on the left side of cover you press LB)

Well no there's a Lightgun which is the correct way to play this game as the arcade only gave the option for Lightgun play period. I have coins and start button and change weapon all mapped to my gun so I only need to my gun to play it nothing else.

Try right clicking the .exe of the game (not Teknoparrot) select properties > compatibility > change high DPI settings > and click the bottom one "override high DPI scaling behavior scaling performed by" and leave it on application.

 The last compatibility list I saw for cxbx only about 22% of games are working. 

I have a problem with cxbx when I use an autohotkey script my xbox 360 controller doesn't work even though the buttons are set. If I load the game directly in cxbx it works. 

Nevermind, I just loaded the iso in launchbox and loaded the emulator without ahk and it's fine. So happy to have Jet Set Radio Future fullscreen on my rgh 360 it's not.  Just wish I could get Tao Feng Fist of the Lotus and ToeJam & Earl III then I could get rid of my original Xbox I only have it for those two games ha. 

I did a side  by side comparison of me playing Motorstorm Pacific Rift on PC and me playing it on PS3 at the same time. It was not even in the same atmosphere the PS3 was so much better. I would only switch them over if the games played the same. I have a steering wheel for PC/Xbox 360 but I have a mayflash adapter that lets me use it on PS3 so I can even use my wheel on PS3 so no real reason to switch unless it's identical. Thanks for all the help though.

Yeah I have a CFW PS3 and Move, just trying to get all arcade type games on PC. I prefer my lightgun on PC over Move anyday.
