You can look through (or extract) with 7zip also...portable Porteus Linux. it's a ELF64..

Right after that window should be another cmd line window opening simultaneously, loading the pt2s_g11 file then boot to game. try this one just for the hell of it. runs, custom res ticked or not. i run it at 1920X1080. PT2

2018 is the easiest to install .. tick on Auto create database and add your database password and the name if you want(like GT2018) or leave it.from the tp game setup menu. as far as i am concerned, all the passwords should be the same with the info around it (default settings) besides the password and database name. in TP's game settings. when you run it.. it will ask for the restore database .get that from your GT2018 folder (pg_backup) Very nice feature, I must add..
