Should work out of the box, if files needed for  Initial D Arcade Stage 8 Infinity are installed.

Resolution patch.

Mini update.

Adds the Akina Snow course and attract mode.

Put the file into the TeknoParrot directory, not in the Initial D 7 folder ! (for older versions of TeknoParrot ?)

English translation patch files.

What the files translate in game:

RIVAL_DATA = In-game race rival panel

utf8_jp_RIVAL_DATA = Chapter select and loading Titles, pre-race rival panel

utf8_MISSION_DATA.ini = Project D Mission names

Remember to keep a backup of the files you replaced, if you want to return it to Japanese.

I hope that this tutorial helps other people out.

It takes you a few moments to read, but it took me all night to figure it out.

When you get the game working, thanks to this "manual", please give a thanks at this post.

:very-good:

And a BIG thanks for the people who originally uploaded the games, we all can enjoy (if you do it right) !!!

And of course all the people involved in, the game loaders and JVS I/O emulation applications we use, and all the people I "forgot".

Also look at the posts below, some members / people add helpful information, thank them also .....

I have tried 3 different english translations, I drop them into the proper spot and override the files but the game is all in Japanese still? Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

And I mean from booting to the race I saw no english except for a screen or two that was already in english.
